20251223073440_1.jpg Was just doing some coal loading with whichever engine that is- one of the new(er) US ones. Setting speed control to 2mph as it asks me to do but the train will only get to 1.9. So then the prompts don't advance. As soon as I turn speed control off the train loses all power and just stops. I set the speed control to 10mph (it gets to like 9.9) and it still doesn't turn the prompt off. This is more technical and may be a PEBKAC issue but it's a pretty basic system.

When I go to redo the last checkpoint it just kicks me back to right after I finished the last checkpoint and returns me to where I was (done.)

Why do both the engineer and the conductor both turn their heads in sync? Seriously? I mean it's a little detail but how long have you guys been doing this? It's utterly absurd.

Will it be fixed next month when you launch TSW 10?

    Hi Gascan ,

What are your PC specs, and FPS in this scenario? Lower end PCs are known to have trouble running these scenarios. Just tried the coal loading introduction myself and it appears to be working as expected.

No clue how my system specs are going to influence the speed control system on the loco being stuck at 1.9mph when I need to get to 2mph, powering down immediately after I turn off speed control, heads turning simultaneously and the return to last checkpoint returning me to the point immediately after I completed it but I'll play along. It's certainly at least average to upper middle:

i7 14650 with 64GB of DDR5 with a 4070 all on an SSD. I know you need to rule it out if, for example, I was complaining about microstutters, low FPS, game crashing etc. but in this case I'm not sure it's the first question I would ask.

And before you ask, yes it's plugged in. (mostly intended tongue in cheek.

    Mostly.)

I've gone back in and tried it again- same deal... Set the speed to 2.1 and I get it up to 2mph on the HUD but it doesn't matter- doesn't advance. I turn speed control off when the loading is done and the train stops. I can't tell if there's some step I'm missing because it won't advance the prompts.

    Hi,
are you using unofficial mods? You didn't mention your FPS, but are you limiting it below 60? Could you share your graphical settings, please?

20251224031353_1.jpg 20251224031357_1.jpg No and about a hundred. If they were at 15 I'd have mentioned it in my complaint.

I have them capped at 100... presets at high.
Can you at least explain why you're asking about my FPS when I'm complaining about an in game issue involving a prompt not advancing even though conditions were clearly met?

To demonstrate, I've uploaded a playthrough of the scenario here:
