Well it's in their own interest to fix it. If it's just left untouched and then it's "hey, look at our new shiny new release of the 805 and Trent Valley route" then many people just won't bother, especially the console users
As we mentioned on a recent stream with Richy Rail, yes there is aim to do a big patch for B2C, at the moment all of the team are off until after the new year so we will give more updates closer to the time, feel free to keep posting feedback in this thread You can checkout the recording here:
Sorry to ask or post this but cant find any answers. Why this route was released in such terrible state for consoles. Was any testing done on this. Cause it just feels like dtg took money and run. I have played it its a good route lots of variety but let down by so much.
We have not had a definitive answer from anywhere as to why it was released so incredibly botched. However, it has been suggested (and I’m inclined to agree) that DTG told them to publish on time and not delay. Don’t really see the point of posting yet more faults with it on here because they won’t get fixed any time soon.
I agree, I think post TSW6 launch it was the most "finished" route and DTG put pressure on them to release in the time slot.
Whilst the left hand rail has the full implentation of the new track shadows, the right hand rail seems to be using the old method of drawing in the shadow some 100m infront of the train. Pretty distracting.
Picked this up knowing it was in a state but the amount of CTD I get on series x is ridiculous. Ever the optimist it sounds like DTG know what some of the issues are and will be fixing in the next few months.
Can I ask if theres a particular area you are experiencing the crashes? If you own all the layers too? It seems like some people get crashes but others don't. If you can also let me know how much content you own and if you run the game in 4k mode please. This will help me try and replicate the crashes on my Xbox's
Scoring seems off. Was perfectly on time and on target but still got a gold. Would appreciate more setup time for cab also for some of the ecs runs.
Sometimes also some speed changes start at board rather than when passed. Its primarily for changes to speed with increases. It activates at start rather than when train has passed.
Service 1J04 Walsall to Shrewsbury with the 170/6 has a massive 12 minute load passenger instruction at the start. Service starts at 07:14 but the train isn't scheduled to depart until 07:26
PC Player - Steam - I've played a dozen services so far, and 3 times I have had a crash to desktop. All 3 times it was on the approach to New Street and from what I can see the Class 350 appearing seems to play a part in it, I also get the odd unusual stutter just before a 350 appears along the route, which makes me think possibly the 350 textures might be an issue.
Do you have any mods installed? Custom Liveries? things like that? Also can you post your PC specs, will help me get a picture at what is likely causing the problem
Service 1028 Manchester Pic to Bournemouth. Weather set to custom and all clear. Date set to July. Got to 2-3 miles outside of new street and traffic was backed up for 5-6 trains. After 5-10 mins deleted train causing blockage and game crashed. It did this a few times over the next 1-2 miles (I kept saving and loading in). New street was also jammed and had to delete several trains. Another occasion, loaded into timetable on foot at Stafford at 8:30am, weather all clear, date set to June. Sometimes after just 10 mins the game CTD. Other times. I can take over a service (heading to new street) and it will CTD at Wolverhampton as I am pulling into the platform. Layers:- Cross City 390 Midland Mainline WMR 350 170 Pack Cardif City 220
Just driven the 1O28 service (on PC) without any issues, actually nice to depart the same time as the Class 158 alongside.
9W10 AI has no pantograph up. To see the train start AWC service 9M48, 9W10 is on the next platform PS5. Since your last update to BHM to CRE, I have noticed the blurry textures are less. Thank you for your hard work Kezz and the team. I know the blurry textures are a core issue and that hopefully it will be sorted by DTG in the next few months.
Take it no licenses etc have been bought for Caledonian Sleeper services yet. Noting Birmingham International served from January 2026 albeit not New Street assume Ai through it though. Even Transport for Wales traction is brought through yet, Crewe station AI. Slight let down, would have thought by now Caledonian would litter the place with sections of route out for the network.
