If you want to give DTG or a third party a good enough reason to make the route, then a whole lot more detail is needed.

 

Or a poll like "this vs a new ECML stretch"...

 

Ok i am going to my laptop right now and i will buy a new keyboard and write an essay to dtg and third partys, and not stop writing until the keyboard stops working. wish me luck

 

Rather than being sarcastic, maybe look at the pinned thread on this sub-forum as to what makes a good suggestion, then compare that to your 4-word original post, then realise that what you posted is as far away from being a 'good' suggestion as it's possible to be?

 

The stretch i wanted on the WCML tbh, but I’m still happy we have it going to Crewe. Now all we need is Alan Thompson to pull their socks up and extend their route to Crewe also, so we have the branch line going to Manchester Piccadilly from the mainline.

You need to explain (in detail) about your suggestion.. DTG nor a 3rd Party Dev is going to consider your suggestion because you said "need I say more?"..

With AABS now doing Crewe to MKC it is difficult to see how this could come about without duplication. It also needs the Northampton Loop for completion sake which would make it a very long route.

 

Especially since the Stafford - Crewe section will be duplicated no matter what...

 

To be honest in a way its quite nice having a good chunk of the WCML done and dusted.

Wouldn't mind seeing the same happen to the GWML or SWML/PDL next.

Depends how you see it,

1. Crewe to Stafford then beyond down Trent Valley.

Duplicates between Crewe to Stafford for Birmingham section.

2. Crewe to Stafford Birmingham line

Duplicates between Crewe & Stafford for Trent Valley services.

Must work well duplicates as Edinburgh to Haymarket is duplicated or should be.
