Route Riviera Line: Exeter – Plymouth & Paignton (incl. Class 150 & 802) - Feedback

I've just taken these screenshots on my PS5.

 

Maybe 150261 is a PS specific issue?

 

I’m on ps5 and most times I see two 150261’s coupled together but I do see other numbered ones running about.

 

The Class 802 headlights are the same whether you turn on the low beams or the high beams. Nothing changes. And in general, you can't really see anything at night. Will this be fixed, or is this just rhetorical?

 

Is anybody else's air show mastery completely broken now? I've got the three aircraft glitching out above Torquay like they're falling out of the sky

 

I noticed this a lot on the Blackpool branches route even with the wind set to zero.

 

I picked this route up last night with the discount. I must say I forgot how beautiful Devon and Cornwall is.

Nope. None of cargo line addons.

 

Just had my first ever blurry textures on this route (on Series X) - running 2F12 in the 150 and everything went blurry around Starcross. It was however just as an absolute blizzard started with dynamic weather on, so will stick to custom weather in the future.

 

I just had another approaching Exeter in the 166.

 

On a 10-car 802, with two units coupled together, why are the headlights on (at full no less) in the middle cabs?

Also, why on the 802 (and I think the 150) is the cab light automatically on?

 

Why do the empty stock movements have no set up time?

Also, for 5E13 (Part 2) in the Class 158, it is impossible to earn higher than a silver medal

 

Replying now to get this back on top. It still does this and it is pretty annoying.

 

GSMR turns off in cab after 30 minutes. Noticed it on the Class 150 and have noticed it across other routes too.

 

Have these issues with ps5 been fixed since this thread was started? Only asking as I’m considering getting one.

 

So very disappointing that they have not fixed stuff on the 802 and the 220.

I know it is par for the course and to be expected, but still really deflating that even new routes are not getting much aftercare, even with all the PR bluster.

 

This happens on loads of trains. It's not really off, the display just goes dead. Why? No idea.

 

The vehicle's track lighting needs to be improved. Especially in the 802, the train's front lighting is very poor. The train barely illuminates the track ahead. Traveling after dark, we're practically blind – we can't see anything at all! DTG, please do something about this!

 

I rasied a ticket shortly after the route was released as I have never seen the larger middle aircraft.

Ticket "Closed, resolved" - issue never been fixed in true DTG style.

 

I think it's a real world issue as well. I did a Devon Day ranger on Saturday and my first train was the 05:00 Exeter St Davids to Paignton.

I couldn't believe it when it was formed with 150261 haha.

 

I did a night route from St Austell to PZ in pouring rain yesterday .. most of the route the screen was almost totally black.. outside of being in a station, the only time I saw any track was when the lightning flashed… and then the game terminated when I missed a red signal going into to the PZ sidings at under 5mph :-(

 

I think there are a couple of Stop boards you need to be wary of in that area. You have to stop and get permission from the signaller before proceeding.

On the PS5 I'm now getting blurry textures on the line from Newton Abbot to Paignton

 

That stretch is always bad for me and the textures.

 

I didn’t know about the boards.. I was so focused on staying at 5mph or less in the dark…

 

I've noticed when driving the 802 if I turn the downlighter lights on they will work fine for awhile, ie the light itself is on and it casts light but after awhile the light itself appears off but is continuing to cast light.





Button still says on, they still cast light but for some reason the actual light changes to an off visual.

A very poor show if that is the case.

 

Oh I think they give up months on fixing this route and others.

 

It released. People bought it. DTG got revenue from it.

Then the next thing came along and all their attention went to it.

 

Dovetail won't change until they lose money. Stop letting them get away with the bare minimum
