Football Special Problem

I’ve just bought the Euston / M Keynes route.

Twice I’ve tried to do the football special with the 350/1and twice whey I’ve got the train loaded, it refuses to ove anywhere.. that’s despite driving it to the station from the sidings.

no amount of button pressing, resetting, turning on and off of any and all buttons sorts the situation.

Am I missing something really simple or is this a problem with this scenario.

 

Have you set the reverser to forward after loading? It´s missing in the instructions.

 

I know that the if the battery is turned on while any passenger or cab doors are open then the train won't move. Could this be the issue? I'll see if I can try and recreate the problem soon if nobody else can, but it might not be for a while.

After making sure all passenger and cab doors are closed, turn off the battery and turn it on again - if the issue was linked to the doors and battery then that should provide a workaround.

 

Yes.. several times.. I’ve reset everything multiple times….master key, reverser, brakes, the whole shebang.

And now.. same issue on an 802 on the Riviera Line doing the refuel scenario… complete the route..drive to the fuel wash area siding, change ends, train moved about 10 yards and stopped… again.. turned everything on and off multiple times including all the safety systems.. now I’ve got to cancel the scenario.. this is highly frustrating!!!

 

I’ll have to remember to try that.. referring to 802 with a similar issue, I thought I’d try that but I couldn’t find a battery to reset so not sure if there is one to reset…

 

And.. as if I needed anything else.. all of the graphics on the 802 went all blocky on the drivers panels and outside … double and treble grrrrrrrrrrrr

 

I also reset the train physics in the main menu.. (option, reset, return to scenario).. no effect..

 

And why calls it football?
as if we were almost talking about FIFA

 

I have completed this scenario without any problems.

 

Because the scenario is about getting football fans back from Wembley after a match.

 

Why do you think? Fans are going to watch football at a football match.

So you understand now why the scenario is called a football special now?

 

Because in the UK we call it football (what it should be called)
