    Hi everyone,

While playing on the Frankfurt–Fulda line in TSW5, I wanted to share some feedback about the S-Bahn section near Frankfurt.

When driving an S-Bahn train toward Frankfurt Main Süd, you enter a tunnel with no textures, and several stations before Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof appear unfinished or completely untextured. Even Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof itself isn’t well textured, which breaks immersion, especially for such an iconic station.

After passing Hauptbahnhof, the train switches tracks and continues a bit, but the game quickly indicates that you’ve left the playable area. It seems this part of the line was planned but never completed.

Stepfort Zone made a video explaining all of this clearly:

I understand this might have been too ambitious for the initial release, but I think this section really has potential and could be a good candidate for a future update or DLC.

Thanks to the whole TSW5 team for the great work, I just wanted to share this in case it helps improve the line.

    Bye!

DTG has never improved a route DLC that has been sold or added additional routes.

And DTG will never do so with this DLC either.

I think most of the time, what happens is what Emmy_MAN described.
Whereas what you described are two special cases, unfortunately so rare that they constitute exceptions.

I mean I've just disproved your statement. It's not like they will add extensions to every route. 2 extensions (with no extra cost) is fair enough. There have been other extensions like SEHS and Leipzig Dresden but both were paid. I'm sure there might be more I'm unaware of

Ok, sorry, you know, it's not always easy for me to understand the subtleties because of the langage barrier.

I would happily pay for any extension if I feel it's worth the price.
For example, I'm completely mad about the upcoming Trent Valley (true, it's not an extension stricto sensu).

I hope there will be more in the future.

But extensions apart, above all, it was the bug fixing I had in mind (that was part of the aforementioned criticism) and on that point, we can only agree that it left to be desired... :(

Yes, exactly, Dresden–Leipzig was an extension of Dresden–Riesa, which DTG only did to have a so-called new German route in TSW6.

And for the rubbish DTG did with this extension, they also wanted our money.
This extension was just thrown together quickly and is therefore one of the worst German routes.

Yeah it's a good route but was disappointed with it nonetheless. It doesn't add all that much to the route if I'm honest. I bit of a longer run for ICE/IC but that's it really.

I get what you mean, and I agree on part of it.
Dresden–Leipzig really feels like an extension rather than a fully new route, and it doesn’t add much beyond longer ICE or IC runs.
The frustration mainly comes from expectations. When an extension is sold separately, people expect a solid level of polish and meaningful additions. In that case, it clearly felt rushed.
With Frankfurt–Fulda, the situation feels slightly different. The track layout and existing assets suggest that more was originally planned around Frankfurt. That’s why it feels unfinished rather than simply limited. I’m not even against this being a paid DLC, as long as it’s properly completed and polished.
The foundation is already there. Finishing it the right way would genuinely add value to the route.
