I’m contemplating getting a PS5… Would I download TS6 again to it from Sony, or do I have copy it from one to the other and is that easy to do? TIA
If you use the same account on PS5 from ps4 you can reinstall all the game and contents for free, but progress are likely lost
No, it means the amount of services completed on every owned contents before upgrade to current gen, in my case i've successfull imported my profile from old gen, but i've had to start from level 0
BTW I didn’t import anything from PS4 as I’ve not had the game long. I lost all progress but it wasn’t a big deal
Like others have mentioned you just log into the PS5 using the account you have on the PS4. That will give you access to everything you have bought. Having PS4 versions of TSW and DLC entitles you to the same stuff in PS5 version. You may have to individually “buy” it again from the store, but it will show up as $0. You just have to be careful because the PS5 CAN download and run PS4 versions. So you could accidentally download the PS4 version of TSW and play it on your PS5, but you will be getting none of the advantages of owning a PS5. You want to make sure you select and install the version of the game marked “PS5”.
I did have two versions, listed as ps4 and ps5, deleted the ps4 version.. so as far as I know I have the right version.
