No loco collection would be complete without Avanti West Coast’s brand new Class 805 Evero! Avanti West Coast Class 805 This exciting Add-on introduces the Avanti’s newest generation of long-distance trains. Players can look forward to stepping in the cab of a 5-car BR Class 805 BMU presented in Avanti’s striking livery. What’s particularly interesting isn’t what it does have, but what it doesn’t have: the traditional yellow front. The result is a cleaner, more aerodynamic aesthetic that sets it apart from earlier members of 80X family. Timetable & Gameplay The new timetable included in this Add-on are two new 2025-era timetables covering stretches of the West Coast Main Line. Covering a complete 24-hour day, the timetable delivers a with 510 fully driveable services. Modern rolling stock is used extensively to reflect the 2025 setting, while carefully selected legacy traction remains in place to add authenticity. The end result is a cohesive and contemporary timetable for the Birmingham–Crewe route, designed to stand confidently alongside the new WCML South 2025 timetable. These are: West Coast Main Line: London-Milton Keynes West Coast Main Line: Birmingham-Crewe Please note that the Avanti West Coast Class 805 Evero will be released on PC and 9th Gen Console platforms only. Known Launch Issue on Xbox Series X Alongside the release of the Avanti West Coast Class 805 loco add-on, we wanted to share a known issue which we weren’t able to resolve for players on Xbox Series X platforms. During final testing, our teams have encountered crashes when launching the “Bound to Edinburgh” scenario on Xbox Series X, preventing the scenario from being played. Unfortunately, due to this issue being discovered last-minute, we are unable to hold the release on the platform, which we would otherwise consider. We want players to have the best possible experience with these add-ons, and we apologise to players on Xbox Series X whilst our teams work with All Aboard Studios to find a resolution to this issue as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience, we will update you when we have more information on a hotfix. I've said this before on this forum, but does it really matter if someone makes a spelling or grammar error if it's still obvious what they mean?
Exactly right. It doesn't. We have to be aware that English is not a first language for many people on the forum.
Individual writing hiccup, no; that happens to everyone, especially in this age of autocorrect. But "would of" and its family have spread like measles, and it keeps being used through corrections, making it feel less like an honest mistake and more like a cult or conspiracy trying to normalize through belligerence and repetition. "We of to of faith!" But I'm also someone from a family of English majors, authors, teachers, etc. who finds reading that painful, so maybe my tolerance isn't what it should be. "Eggcorn" is new to me, so thanks for the TIL!
what is the point of releasing it later on pc? steam gives you total control over when to publish. i find it hard to believe it takes 12 hours to finish the build on PC, the release candidate surely is done the day before (and if not i want to talk to your project manager)
I can answer this. This is how it is usually pronounced, and some people write 'Would've", I just do it to drive people nuts when they get grammatically correct on me. (I have big 'little sister' energy) No, plus we have to remember people speak multiple languages within, and English isn't always a first language. Plus, my English is different from other English, even from my northern countryfolk.
