Same issue, and I have the evidence! 4O21 runs south and is brought down to red, as Aroused by Trains suggests, by a 4-Car 350 (1L71) just hanging out on the line shortly after a signal - not even being held at red at a signal. It appears to have encountered a fault (if your imagination can stretch that far) and will need deleting to continue. Sleuthing further, I then ran the 350 service 1L71 from Crewe to Birmingham and didn’t encounter a single issue - in fact, I’d say that run was an ‘Awesome Service Mode’ run.. passing under a flying XC at Norton Bridge Jct., racing into Stafford with a Pendo, pushing a WMR 170 along the adjacent platform arriving into Wolverhampton and meeting another Pendo at the exit of the tunnel into New Street!
And amusingly I'm running 1L71 right now based on your recommendation - had a door fault before setting off though so don't know how it'll act Did you also have Green to Red sequence?
Yes, so the door issue I must have anticipated without realising and closed/reopened from habit, that’s hopefully something the mooted January patch will resolve (1L71) Yes too, to the green to red on the Basford Hall exit.. not sure about those ‘STOP’ boards either.. (4O21)
Re: doors - I just mean the random failures thing - I have it on, just set to low probability so it is genuinely a surprise when it happens...
Is just container freight on this route? And why is there so few jobs i thought would have been a busy freight hub. But Basford hall yard is always empty.
All switched on. Layer selector shows 21 layers active. All other layers look fine including the TfW and 323s and stuff.
Unfortunately not. I tried several times of year now and with several locos and even on foot. Renewed the licence. Nothing. Definitely was there before, like the 158 next to the main track. Makes me sad. After all the layering issues on PS4, this "issue" niow starts on PS5 as well. Lots of frustration. Might wishlist Simrail right now already.
I am also having issue with layers. In have WCMLS installed and all layers enabled but none of the freight is showing that I own it when looking at the layers. Tried uninstalling etc but still the same.
If I got to trains and 66 I can't play this route and the 66 doesn't show as an option under the route
Hey folks, just adding a link to the spot about B2C updates for y'all: https://www.youtube.com/live/RjIUvUGOcWw?si=iIPuIqHMwHIBQl23&t=6299
There’s still tension between AAB and ATS I read. Both parties are salty with one another. I said it in a previous post, but they really just need to grow up and do what’s best for their player base.
What are they like 10 or something grow up stop acting like kids and give us what we want and pay for.
WCMLS, B2C and TV I would’ve thought. That’s the PR response to keep everything calm. Who really knows what’s going on behind the scenes. For ATS to say they won’t put their loco on AAB routes though, screams resentment to me. What about other routes? Why only AAB routes? *Edit* I’ve just read LPGaming’s response @4:10pm regarding the class 90, maybe I was wrong.
Personally, I think it is totally unreasonable to ask for patch notes for a patch, total and utterly unreasonable
So B2C is still bugged since 3 months ? Just thought about buying it together with the 805, but under this circumstances I'll wait until they fixed the route and then buy both...
Not a lot to be honest. It can only be accessed by ground position signals so I think trains have to leave from one of the other platforms and then shunt back into platform 6. You can see what I mean on OpenTrainTimes (https://www.opentraintimes.com/maps/signalling/wvh#T_WVRMPTN) I think a few early morning services use it (or at least they used to) and I've seen it used during engineering works or disruptions. EDIT: I've just checked OpenTrainTimes for Friday and yesterday; nothing was scheduled from plaform 6
So doing morning tfw job and past 6 trains off path thats ridiculous how the hell does it get like that.
Is Wolverhampton steel works still in use today if so why wasn't any jobs centred around it. I mean you fast travel there its be modeled there are tracks looks OK.
Think one of the scenarios uses platform 6, though can’t remember off the top of my head which one. Believe Wolverhampton steel works is no longer in use.
The steel works haven't existed for some time but there is traffic in and out of the steel terminal which was refurbished quite recently. Check Real Time Trains for "Wolverhampton Steel Term".
Well I bought the crew to Birmingham route again thought give it thew months see if they have updated it fixed thew problems bought this this morning after the new add on 805 when I loaded route bang out of video memory
CTD at Crewe while closing the doors to end 323 farewell tour. These crashes at Crewe are still happening on a regular basis. XBox Series X Edit... Played after todays update.
I'm glad someone else mentioned this. That was a proper run in the 323, I started it from Soho as well. And it's a crying shame that it just booted me to dashboard. DTG Matt DTG Alex please tell us there's some significant improvement on Xbox? We seem to have the worst of the circumstances. PS5 sounds like it plays better these days.
Xbox always seems to get shafted for some reason. Witch is so annoying considering how much money we for xbox series x and s.
Why on the new 2025 timetable does it take 45 mins to go Wolverhampton to Birmingham New Street all stops when on the other timetable it took 26 mins. Also why is there no 350s that go Birmingham to Stamford.
Seem ever since I bought this new add on out of video memory keeps popping up on the London Euston route now
No idea on the 45 minutes between Birmingham and Wolverhampton. However, the Birmingham to Crewe (via Stoke) services that we can drive between Birmingham and Stafford in the 2019 timetable don't run anymore; they are just a shuttle service between Stafford, Stoke and Crewe.
It seems that this route (and the Evero timetable for WCML) calculates points for distance driven differently compared to other routes: you get the standard 65 points per 'click', but the distance driven is further. I'm curious as to if this is intentional and if yes, what the reasoning behind this decision was.
West Midlands / London North Western don't operate the route so their would be no reason for Class 350s to operate between Birmingham & Stamford that would be CrossCountry Stansted Airport services. Which incidentally isn't avaliable yet or on a back dated Roadmap for upcoming.
