This is a reskin and is always the case with these things they’ve left the evidence there for us to see. Sometimes they don’t even try to hide it and that’s what gets me. Don’t remember which thread I posted it in now but if you spawn an 805 (oh for a 5-car you have to select a 390!) the computer shows a destination of Swindon.
I expected there is but its what interests you & not what other people think they are only giving there feed-back on it if they brought otherwise you not in position to criticise it.
For the record. I bought it. I foolishly thought it was going to be more than just a reskin and that it would be worthwhile. My honest advice is wait for it to be a tenner. As a matter of principle.
Ditto. There is really nothing about driving this that is anything special, if I want to take a Knotweed from Euston to MKC or Birmingham to Crewe I can just set up a run with the 801 or 802 in Scenario editor. One to rebuy in a deep sale only.
Just had my first crash on Xbox since the WCML(S) was first fixed (well, not fully fixed obvs) over a year ago whilst playing an 805 service. The game crashed with the out of video memory reason whilst on the approach to London Euston. Honestly, how are things still so bad?
I was of the understanding it's a new model that has a different interior, PIS screens, additional cab functionality and a new timetable that at last features a busy timetable for those not on PC. Is that not the case?
Yes. That’s all true. The interior has different moquette and different seat. But, this really isn’t a big deal. The screens show different destinations (does that count?) Additional can functions (you can run on diesel) There are a couple of additional trains BUT this seems to make the crashes more commonplace.
Well if it is just a "reskin" then I am happy with it, although it seems to be diminshing peoples efforts by calling it "just a reskin" especially when it comes with new timetables on two routes. Everytime there is a new release the same people buy it and then regret it, moan about it and then buy the next release and then regret it and then moan about it, rinse and repeat. There is plenty of research material before you press the buy button, stop "rewarding" developers with your money if you think their stuff is shoddy. I am going for a run up the WCML in an 805, as I think it is rather good.
Which doesn't make a lot of difference up front in the cab. Maybe aesthetics if doing conductor mode, which I avoid other than for monthly mastery anyway. If they had made a real effort to buff the sounds heard in the cab, or change things so you could run with the cab doors open then maybe it would be more than a rework (which is crediting slightly more effort than a reskin), but there was no way this was ever going to be built from scratch. It's a conversion and not worth £15 (IMHO).
Why did you buy it? Just out of interest, because you basically knew all this beforehand and even said it in posts!! *I totally agree with you though, just not sure why you would still give them the money?
Well, I'm happy with value for money, it's why I bought it. Even if some are underwhelmed, this pack would have required enough work to justify the price in my opinion. I'll finally have time to take it for a spin tomorrow.
Honestly people need to start with the price of DLC it is not cheap and if people keep buying content that they feel is not worth the price it is only going to get worse.
The two timetables you mention only comes beneficial to those who own BOTH routes. If you only own one of the routes the the other timetable is pointless really. Also to add I read in another comment that although you get two new timetables one of them has drastically cut freight right down from the previous timetable to only 8 freight service!! I know it has been mentioned they will look to reimplement those services but how often have we heard that in the community about things getting fixed and never do.
The All Aboard Simulations Class 805 “Evero” BMU Multiple Unit DLC for Train Sim World 6 is genuinely the best thing to hit the rails since sliced bread — a masterclass in realism, immersion, and craftsmanship. The audio alone, powered by SamTSound Mods, is nothing short of phenomenal, delivering rich, authentic soundscapes that make every throttle input, brake application, and power transition feel alive and visceral. Kezz’s work on the simulation side elevates the experience even further, with systems, handling, and operational detail that feel painstakingly researched and flawlessly implemented, turning every run into a deeply authentic driving experience rather than just a route run. And visually, the Evero is simply stunning — razor-sharp textures, immaculate cab detail, and exterior modelling that’s genuinely second to none, making it as beautiful to look at as it is to drive. It’s not just a DLC — it’s a benchmark for what premium Train Sim World content should be
We need a LOL emoji so bad on this forum after reading this. Did you seriously get AI to type that out for you LOL. Funny thing is you are saying how the exterior modelling is fantastic. You do realise this is not a brand new build model but a modification of the 80x we have in sim already so the modelling has got nothing to do with AABS lol b
