On PS5, at least, there are still a few spots in the trench just west of Roseville Interlocking where there are either missing catenary poles are extraneous resistors on the wires.

One bigger issue that I know has been brought up before---in both the ALP46 and the ALP45, when coasting, there should be one traction motor in dynamics and one in traction, but as currently modeled we only have the one in dynamics, which means there is no real "coast" setting available, only very mild dynamics or full-on first-notch traction.

candacedtg It appears ps5 version didn't receive the complete patch. For instance, the crosswalk near Dover hasn't been updated. Was the wrong build sent to ps5 perhaps? Can dtg look into it?

I would echo a lot of the above, theres a hell of a lot from here that get back to the Dev teams that people probably don't even realise. MRT had a lot of feedback about traffic, and roads I understand already and has continued to have

Is Arrow "square wheels" sound is something new? After many services, I've never heard that very loud sound in the cab, reminiscent of a steam locomotive's pistons. The sound is barely audible from the outside, and it's only present in the front cab. Is it random?

Also, can anyone confirm that the lighting masts(I don't know what they are called in English) along the entire route have stopped illuminate at night? Or is this another clumsy lighting configuration? It's nighttime. The stations are illuminated, but the masts doesn't casts any light.

PseudoStalker Could they be cell towers? I have seen them on the route.

The flat spot sounds were already brought up earlier by Louis MTA, and I asked the same question somewhere in the last 15 pages of this thread as I’ve experienced them maybe 2-3 times by now, but of course we didn’t get any response. I think it’s random and I have to say I love them.

I have also noticed the flat spot sounds on the Arrow, and after recently picking up LIRR Commuter I have noticed the flat spot sounds there as well. It's random and if you discover it at the beginning of your service, it will most likely go away if you restart the service. It has never been confirmed or even mentioned by DTG anywhere. Maybe they don't know? Quite the easter egg.

On the Arrow 3 ,those are the flats heard internally, it has a 7.5% chance of being that specifc bogie.

No, they are a light sources(possibly in warehouse or parking areas). And previously they were fully functional, illuminating many sections of the tracks.
I started the service on September 30th at around 6:00 PM(already dark). After about 15-20 minutes, the platform lights turned on, but the masts didn't illuminate for the rest of the trip. Maybe there's a faulty timer in the environment lighting configs.
For those of you who've played at night after this big patch, do the masts light up?

I have a copy of the older version of the file for the route from before they messed up the catenary, so I'll try copying it over and running it without the new patch and record footage to compare.

Just jumped in on foot at midnight and compared the two versions of the route. All the lighting on neighbouring streets, in car parks, etc. at the stations I jumped between was all working identically on both (and I could tell the different route versions were correctly loading by that crossing at Dover).
I will do a more in depth comparison by starting before sunset and allowing the lighting to transition in realtime, but it would help if you can hit me up with a screenshot of the specific lighting assets you are referring to, and details of where in particular you noticed a difference. The regular streetlights and the large poles in carparks and the like with the four lights on each side were all working fine and providing illumination on both the old and new route versions for me, I did not see anything else which might have met your description.

Sounds like exactly what I'm talking about. They're common between stations and illuminate tracks, for example, when leaving Summit towards Short Hills.
So it's just an incorrect lighting configuration. The stations turned on, but the poles didn't.

In that case when I get the chance I'll do that test in realtime to see if they turn on or not in both route versions.

They are flat spot sounds, and while I don't think the sounds are great in my opinion (the faster sounding internal flat spot sounds sound like Microwave popcorn, while the external sounds in general could've been mixed a bit louder) it is cool to see that DTG went out of their way to program them on the Arrow III's by random chance. Another reason why the Arrow III's are the best NJT locomotives in TSW.

Fun fact, the flat spot sounds that you hear on LIRR Commuter (I think it's the M9 specifically that has it) are actually the internal running sounds that are re-used from the Metrolink Rotem Coaches.

So I've now tested it a few times, with the date set to today, the station lighting turned on at 1700, the street lighting, including the larger poles in the car parks, turned on at 1712
