So i think it is safe to say we know how you received the route then as you are VERY quick to answer and reply back to everything else.

so Alan Thomson is a con artist is he that is a very dangerous thing to say about anyone i hope you have VALID proof to defend such claims for your sake. So why give a con artist money then if you apparently purchased the route ??

I have most product from ATS including the 745 and 755. I personally have enjoyed both products. I have even bought quite a lot of their Timetables.

Never heard of a typo before? Also, I'd never defend Alan in front of any jury. He wouldn't win, lol.

you are missing a key point as well. IF he is not a TSC user why did he allegedly purchase a route if he dont use TSC lol. Stuck himself in a VERY DEEP hole now i think

I think ATS make some of the best content for TSC pair it with AP and you have an amazing choice of content

Lol, you don't know. You can pretend you know all you like, but your assumptions aren't really going to do you any favors. Also, it's not a very dangerous thing to say about anyone, really. Almost sounded like a threat there.

"So why give a con artist money then if you apparently purchased the route ??"
Wow, what a great conspiracy theory, too bad it has no backing. You actually believe you're onto something, lol. Should try taking your tinfoil hat off sometime.

It's not a key point if it's a typo. I'm a fast typer, of course I make mistakes. I'm human being, not a robot. There's no hole that I dug myself in. You're the one trying to dig one under me because I won't answer your question, lol. You'd be a good corrupt police officer, that's for sure.

Oh, he does? Hmm, so making overpriced Flirts, workplace harassment, and losing an easily preventable lawsuit is providing material for the community now? Right, maybe I should start doing those things since they clearly make for good recognition and don't hurt the TSC community.

Yeah, spare me the bs, please do. Please tell me how any of those things provide material for the community. You know, people who simply refuse to believe their favorite idols can do bad things and have no redeeming qualities whatsoever. Alan so far, is one of those examples. I get the fanboyism, I do. But there comes a time where you have to grow out of it and accept reality. Like how flat-earthers had to accept that the Earth isn't flat (which you'd have to lack intelligence to believe anyway), we have to put aside our ignorance and bias, and accept that our idols only want what's in our wallets, our moneh.

I don't expect you to heed that much, much needed advice, but you probably should, seeing as you need it far more than I ever needed it.

Now, why on God's green Earth, would I want to get the thread locked down? It's a forum. You know, where you can have an opinion. Though, I definitely forgot this was a hive mind, and have interrupted the glazing ritual, again.

I have no idols. I am merely a TSC enthusiast. I can go to ATS, AP and Justtrains and can find some great UK routes and scenarios. How they got there is of no concern to me. I purchase in good faith and enjoy the product. Do you have TSC product the community could benefit from or are you just here to be negative?

"Do you have TSC product the community could benefit from?"
Well, I'm glad you asked. I'm here because I can be here, because I want to be here. I bought TSC in 2021 because I saw Squirrel playing it in one of his YouTube videos back when I was a kid. I always used to watch Train Simulator videos on YouTube when I was a kid. It was cool, because I love trains. I'm not here to benefit you or anyone else. I'm here, right now on this forum, because I can be here. Honestly, I'm in the TSC discord and it's far more pleasant than this forum anyway, that's why I'm rarely active on here. I used to make suggestions. The Amtrak E60 was one of my suggestions, though I'm not sure how far back E60 suggestions go, so I'm pretty sure mine wasn't the first time someone made an E60 suggestion.

A little later, there was the whole ATS fiasco, which was broken up into a few different outlandish things. I remember that very clearly. Maverick Hunter Daniel was one of the content creators who reviewed one of Alan's Flirts before the other came out. I forget which Flirt it was, but the whole thing was like a forest fire. 37 Pounds and some bits for an EMU pack that wasn't even all that and had one of the worst trailers I had ever seen. And since I'm in the US, that's $38 for a "pack" with a single EMU in it. He also brought up the workplace harassment that had happened behind the scenes, and then things went to court and Alan lost. With his attitude, I wouldn't put any of it past him.

And before that, there was the dreaded SD45-2 Pack made by DTM. Worst purchase I've ever made. No quality, all quantity and recycled content. And don't get me started on Saluda Grade and Bozeman Pass, both of which are unworthy of having any Train Sim Pro recognition because nothing about those routes is advanced or anything no US player has ever seen before in a North American TSC route.

Train Sim World was another disastrous can of worms with the yearly release routine. Anyway, I'm here because I can be, usually whenever I feel like coming here. As for what I bring to the table, well I don't ever recall owing the community anything. I just buy TSC dlc I feel is worth my hard-earned money and usually interact with the much more pleasant and competent TSC community on the TSC discord, rather than here.

In short, I'm here because I feel like being here. If providing my opinion is being negative, then call me Negative Nancy. I'm no stranger to taking heat from people who get defensive when someone dares to criticize something they praise or idolize.

I also live in the USA. In fact I work for the company who makes EMD Locos. US TSC Content has been sporadic at best. It is a huge land mass and not as easy to cover. Having been raised in the UK I can appreciate the scenery as I have travelled in all parts of the UK (50 US States also!). I have 3 versions of Flirt - ATS, Christrains, RSSLO. From my little experience the ATS version had the most bells and whistles and I enjoyed the simulations. This forum has typically been used to share ideas and give advice on how to leverage the existing TSC content since DTG no longer makes any product for it themselves. The Discord channel is more of a 'chat' channel - difficult to create any threads and archive information. As Craigie suggested we like to keep relevant documentation in the various threads on this site so that those who can will be able to promote 3rd party content.

That's great and all, but respectfully I don't care. You keep "relevant documentation" right? Well, this is definitely relevant. And again, it's a public forum. And the ATS Flirt, brings barely anything to the table that hasn't already been seen before in German and UK content. RSSLO and Christrains don't treat their customers like open wallets. The discord channel does more favors than this entire hive mind of a forum glazing some dude who tried to justify selling not one, but two EMU packs for 37 Pounds and some bits. The UK portion of the TSC community deserve much better than that and I've seen better. Even Richard's Enhancement and rolling stock packs are better than that and he only puts in like half the effort most of the time. Even DTG's prices are more generous than that. I could go on. I'm not gonna be conned or gaslit into actually believing that Alan's content is anything close to high quality. Even DTM's disaster of a U25 pack is better than those Flirts ATS is expecting people to pay 37 Pounds and some coin for. You could buy one of AP's Class 37 Packs with that money, and the packs alone are just better.

thanks i get you dislike ATS a few people do but to come here and tarnish a thread because a developer sold his route on the ats store was a bit much. Yes you have valid points no doubt about that but was there really any need to the constant bashing on a thread irrelevant to the argument you have. I am sure you a genuine nice person but just got a bit "over excited" if thats the correct term for something you clearly have a passion over

its all good credit to you for coming back and looking at it from that perspective. We all have a passion for train sim its why we are here we all get a little to excited about things at times its not a bad thing its just passion. Full credit to you though for admitting to that.
