I would finally love to see my local line in the game so I am suggesting an Extension of WCML Birmingham to Crewe between Stafford and Crewe via Stoke-on-Trent. The extension would be a total of around 25 miles long and would add an additional 7 stations to the route Additional Stations: Stone Barlaston (Abandoned) Wedgwood (Abandoned) Stoke-on-Trent Longport Kidsgrove Alsager This would allow an extension of drivable XC 220 services to Stoke-on-Trent and drive the entire LNWR Stafford to Crewe via SOT shuttle service plus Avanti West Coast runs 2 services per day from London Euston to Crewe via Birmingham and SOT so we would be able to drive those services all the way to Crewe instead of ending At Stafford Allow Drivable Class 323 services between Stoke-on-Trent and Kidsgrove Finally it will allow the Class 158 to have a use for the route drivable between Stoke-on-Trent and Crewe
I would love that too. But you're right, it would be better suited as an expansion rather than as a standalone DLC.
Yeah, agreed sure I stated with regards this section too before Trent Valley. Would include the Northern Rail section too from Manchester Piccadilly to Stoke on Trent. Would that also include the non station bit to West Coast Mainline shown on National Rail map current version.
Ah ok sorry, I made the confusion with a thread proposing another route. Overall I find it's a good thing to have the Stafford - Crewe stretch included in this route. But in the future, I think the best when you have adjacent routes would be to jump automatically from one to another through portals, for example. A kind of "auto-route hopping" !
