This loco does only provide 2 consist fragment preloads, neither a metadata file nor a full consist definition. A user on the Steam forums reported errors using it in QD (Only cab model and tender were drawn) I've created the missing blueprints, it now shows up in the QD loco menu. I've created two light engine (+tender) consists as a base (Hudson/Dreyfuss). Enjoy!
Hey i was wondering where i put these because putting it in the assets folder does nothing and the folder it self isnt a rwp folder either so it cant go in utilities
Yes I do, im trying to make the actual train itself appear, the tender appears but the engine doesnt, the couplings only appear but as soon as you try and use the whistle it crashes the game.
Before you respond is it possible that the only reason this loco wont show up is because I haven't bought this DLC? Train Simulator: Great Northern F7 ‘Empire Builder’ Loco Add-On / ZephyrWP
The loco is unrelated to that DLC. Not sure about a 3C Hudson? - Where did you download it? I just downloaded the DSGDDR NYC 3a version from the website and it installed both versions of the loco https://www.dsgddr.com.br/ Download and install the locos again and see if they work Peter
It's a discussion forum and I'm not native English speaking, so you can take my comments at face value (except when they are obviously humoristics). Edit : and I know absolutely nothing about American trains.
Yeah ive realised that im on about the wrong loco, I did however download it from that website however for the past 2 years only the tender has ever appeared and never the actual engine of the mod, perhaps you could tell me how you downloaded it as I only put it in the Steam works utilities application which can be found in the directory files.
Don't use Utilities - it is not reliable Having downloaded the NYC J3a (2.0.1).rwp file use 7zip to extract to NYC J3a (2.0.1) In that NYC J3a (2.0.1) folder you will have an Assets folder Copy that to your Railworks folder and the loco should appear
Just tried that and the same issue happend, I uninstalled the NYC j3a from utilities, used 7 zip to extract to NYC J3A, put the files into the railworks folder and the engine is still invisible
