    Here are a few for me....

    Incorrect light setup for AI trains. Random stuff like this seems to happen quite a lot, one is setup, one is core I imagine :

    Missing EOTD for various freight services and no ability to just simply add one manually. Happens far too often, or it starts out ok, but then you do a change of ends shunt that leaves you with a flashing light on the front of the loco for the rest of the run and no way to remove it, but nothing on the rear:

    Destination displays that have not been set up correctly and no way to do it manually:

    The WCMLS version of the tube stock that has zero illuminating from headlights, despite there being a previous version that works just fine and not being able to select the previous version on the newer route despite being able to select the newer version on the older route:

    • Not being able to couple hoses/jumper cables manually
    • Trains that can couple in real life not being able to couple in game
    • Multiple units not being designed for use with formation designer
    • Formation designer still lacking a cargo loading feature
    • Too many invisible walls/out of bounds areas on routes
    • Engine/machine rooms on trains not being modelled (probably doesn't count as a little thing from a development point of view, but it would be nice to see them)

    Local Landmarks being replaced by trees (Newton Abbot Racecourse).

    NPCs staying on trains to the depot.

    But my main one is NPCs walking onto the tracks. Really breaks the immersion and it's not nice to run someone over in a train game.

    The annoying feeling of big stations feeling empty and quiet when they should be heaving. I’m hoping this gets sorted one day.

    Not sure if this would be considered a small annoyance by most but still lol !!.

    Suicidal passengers. The number of plebs I've mowed down because their pathfinding is horrific and they just walk off the platform onto the track is staggering.

    The biggest one for me at the moment is ambient sounds on some routes. For example WCMLS the ambience is generally very quiet at all stations and feels dead. Standing on the platform at Milton Keynes is deadly quiet for such a busy location, as is London Euston. London based routes should have a busy urban ambient sound, not countryside quietness. I mean the same could be said for the majority of built up towns.

    There definitely needs to be an improvement with ambient sounds overall. Oddly enough a TSW2 route, Brighton Mainline, absolutely nailed the terminal ambient sounds and it genuinely sounds busy. But subsequent British routes just seem ghostly quiet.

    Another one on ECML is being able to hear birds tweet inside the cab of the Class 801 regardless of going at 1mph or 125mph, it such a small thing, but also such an annoying glitch and immersion killer.

    Yeah, that is a good one.

    Actually happens on Preston-Carlisle as well, you are banging along at 110mph and then suddenly you start getting cow moos or dog barks in the cab with you!!

    I play Fife Circle often and on that route the ambience is really strange. If you stand at any train station for a a minute you can this really weird sound. Sounds like someone going “YELP”. Has anyone else noticed this ???. It seems to be be on Fife circle and Edinburgh Glasgow. Infact now that I’m bringing this up this is definitely an annoying thing haha !!!. I wish they would change the ambience. When you hear it over and over it starts to irritate you after a while. I’m not sure of this occurs on other routes. I haven’t really paid attention. I may need to check as it could be a rivet thing.

    Try it out if you haven’t and you’ll see what I mean.

    Anybody who plays using a Raildriver controller has to resort to using 3rd party software to "fix" the phantom inputs that are caused by the decreased deadzone introduced in TSW5. It's been broken ever since, and I don't even bother playing the game anymore because of it. It would be a simple fix by simply re-using whatever settings were used pre-TSW5, but Dovetail doesn't care about us, so I haven't bought a single DLC from them ever since.

    Cars going over level crossings when the barriers are down and you’re hurtling towards them. It’s very funny but it breaks the immersion like nothing else

    The NPCs.

    Walking on the tracks, in front of your train, standing on the edge of the platform when you're barrelling down the line, staying on the train at all times even if the train is going to the depot, or has stopped for the night.

    Out of all the issues with this game, the passengers are the number 1.

    Not Maximizing Timetables to their fullest making some DLC feel like ghost towns vs real life counterpart, or utilizing layers available even with unbranded liveries! (wish they would have an in game tool to create your own instead of the editor which is tedious)

    That now over the years I have a quadzillion DB Br143 and the same amount +1 of Dostos in the train selection menu, each in a different state of development, to "choose" from.

    I'm kind of disappointed that certain camera views from TSC are absent from TSW, specifically the trackside and passenger cameras.

    The inability to turn of unrealistic substitutions on some routes without disabling a complete layer.

    And NPC's need sorting out as their behaviour is completely unrealistic.

    Almost everything to do with the NPCs; the suicidal ones, the glitching ones, the ones that don't get on or off the train when they should, or get off the train when they shouldn't (i.e. starting station on route). And as has been mentioned, busy urban stations sounding and looking like quiet rural ones (Barking and London Euston spring to mind).

    for me it’s the default horn with immersion shift. on controller, the default horn is high on some locos and low on others

    The Game still uses images from TSW4 and TSW5 for the Loadingscreen and Menu.

    good to see the pc master race back in full swing, if you think console players complain too much then why don’t you play on console for 6 months. i guarantee you’ll understand why we complain so much- we’ve been getting the short end of the stick for years. and don’t give me the ‘just get a PC’. i’ll happily do that if you’re willing to pay close to a grand and a half for all the hardware and dlc, but i suspect you’re not

    Unfortunately, "just get a PC" won't be good advice. I've got quite a decent PC, but even then TSW stutters. And that's with DTG's optimizations to make the game playable on consoles. Imagine how bad the game would run on PC without those optimizations.

    Train doors closing to open to close again when you finish a service and npc takes over at a station that is the end of the route but not a real life terminus station.

    There being a complete to Gold feature on journey modes but with half of the journey modes the scoring is broken and you can't complete all of them to gold.

    Despite the community putting together a whole list of services with scoring anomalies on the forums for DTG to do nothing with it. Admittedly DTG did revamp scoring, but there are still issues on scenarios and tutorials where you physically can't get the medal for a feature that's being pushed.

    The put a gonk on it scenario on Blackpool is the one medal stopping me with that route. And for TVL numerous services you had to just reverse back and fourth to build up points.

    I have lots, these are ones I remember of the top of my head:

    •Not having a properly registering GSM-R
    •Unbranded trains
    •Birmingham Crewe subclasses using dashes rather than slash
    •All AI Class 350s saying 'Not In' or 'LNR'
    •Not being able to have EMK 350/1s coupled with /2s and /3s
    •710/3 not in included in WCMLS timetable
    •EMK 350/1s having different PIS colour and darker green colours

    The complete absence of ambient night lighting on many routes so that some major urban centers look like nuclear winter.

    Actually what's really irritating is that DTG and its 3P's occasionally get the night lighting right, proving that not caring and poor QA are the real problems.

    I hate to use the word " lazy " when it comes to working people, but sometimes it's a struggle to find an alternative expression.

    Only one Save game slot.


    Major stations being deserted, Cathcart Circle had this issue, along with Manchester Piccadilly and Birmingham New Street, and Barking.

    Cathcart and Birmingham New Street have been sorted with new timetables and DLCs, But Glossop DLC still has an empty Manchester Piccadilly, and Gospel Oak-Barking still has an empty Barking station, with new DLCs and custom made liveries created for other DLCs, it's still frustrating to have this issue.

    I could name a lot, but many have been covered already.

    Console players need is Fast Cam. Default camera speed annoys me.
    Again, more of a feature, but annoying nevertheless. No brightness/Gamma settings, to adjust the in-game brightness.

    I must be the only one here that never uses the training centre? I’ve probably only loaded that up about twice in its entire life span (not including training modules).

    Incorrect PIS screens and licensing.

    Most routes around TSW4 felt very rushed with QA checks for example I'm not too sure if it's still on the bakerloo line but the PIS for each platform is for the opposite platform and this happened on the Suffragette line but instead of fixing the PIS it was deleted i can't remember what station it is though, cross city was like this too and it still has missing PIS screens at Aston & Selly oak.

    I always like to do the training when I buy a new train :). By the way, the training for the 805 finally is a tutorial where they put in some more effort: cold start, diesel/electric changeover, coupling and some nice AI scenery.

    They also need to add the 387 working the Mildmay line at Gospel Oak. Now they are still replaced by the 710s

    The DRA is broken on the 802 but works on the 220.

    The cab light on the 802 works but not on the 220.

    On the 801 and 802, if two five car units are coupled together, lights are on the middle (tail lights for the 801), full headlights on the 802).

    Also, the 802 cab light being on when you spawn into a service from the menu. Even in broad daylight.

    The AWS and DSD/DVD/Vigilance (different trains its named different) being bound to the same button. In many cases this means they sound together when you press one. In addition, when you acknowledge an AWS alarm in the Javelin, the Vigilance sounds but not the AWS.

    I'm rabbiting on, I know, but timetables also aren't built to account for future potential rolling stock. Which means that if a particular train wasn't available but is years later, it never gets included with a route it runs on irl.

    Almost forgot about this one! Even more annoying on German trains, when you hear ZUGBEEINFLUSSUNG every 30 seconds when acknowledging SIFA
