PS5 Class 66 Issues

    I have an issue where when I power up the 66 the rpm goes mental and spikes up an down meaning I can’t use it

    Wheel spin due to poor adhesion maybe ?

    Is this the power changeover thing? At about 35mph some of the 66s will experience what looks like a power surge followed by a complete loss of current. After a couple of seconds the amperes will build back up again and normal driving resumes.

    Is this what you were referring to? If so that's intentional and you can ignore it.

    No not wheel spin the rpm goes crazy I go notch 5 or higher

    So maybe you're talking about a limitation of the TSW model here...

    A real life driver on this forum recently stated that you don't need (irl) to use notch 5+ to pull off from a standing start. Indeed, by doing that, the rpms go into the red zone.

    I've seen scenarios where you had to use notch 6 only to get the train moving... and really, really slowly at that.
    So that's not realistic, doesn't happen irl, but that's how it is in TSW...

    At least physics are already way better than they were in TSC. :|
