PS5 Bug Report: Unable To Spawn Certain Trains In Timetable Mode (on Foot)

When using Timetable Mode and starting on foot, it is not possible to spawn certain trains (e.g., ICE 3M) on some routes. When trying to spawn the train manually, an error/warning message appears, and the train does not spawn.

This happens even though the ICE 3M is a German train and should be compatible with these routes.

The same issue also occurs on other routes, especially when trying to spawn newer Train Sim World trains on older routes.

Steps to Reproduce

Start Train Sim World

Select a route (e.g., Cologne–Aachen)

Choose Timetable Mode

Start the game on foot

Open the menu and try to spawn the ICE 3M

An error message appears, and the train cannot be spawned

Expected Behavior

The ICE 3M (and other compatible trains) should be spawnable in Timetable Mode when starting on foot.

Actual Behavior

An error/warning message appears, and the train does not spawn.

Additional Information

This issue has only been tested in Timetable Mode (on foot).

Not yet tested in Free Roam or Scenario Planner.

Seems to affect multiple routes and newer rolling stock.

Unclear whether this is intentional or a bug.

 

I play TSW6 on PS4, so idk how it is on PS5,
but on PS4 I found out that some trains really requires a lot of memory. You can see how much memory is still available, when you are selecting a train to spawn. Here are some examples when you can spawn them:

ICE 1 → ~1550 MB must be free
ICE 3 → ~1900 MB must be free [Kassel-Würzburg Edition]
ICE T → ~1050 MB must be free

Also an important factor: Same train model is very often present on a route.
I experienced it on the route Hamburg-Lübeck, where there are many AI-Trains of the ICE 3 present. I can't spawn another ICE 3 "due to a memory problem", even though I have enough space. If I turn off the ICE-Layer, then it is no problem to spawn an ICE 3.

So I think the problem on the route Köln-Aachen is that the ICE 3M model is very often present. That's why it's not possible to spawn another ICE 3M.
But I also have to say that I experienced this problem only for the ICE trains. Idk why they are so special :/

Happens to me for various routes of all different countries. I've tried spawning a 387 on GWE twice. Once on the new timetable and the second on the reduced old one. Both didn't work.
