Class 345 Elizabeth Line

Having seen it hiding in the roadmap stream screenshot…. How do we think the Class 345 will feature in the HST pack then? A one off test train or regular service??

I wouldn't actually be surprised if we get a GWE 2025 Timetable featuring OHLE past Hayes, Class 800 and 802 running HST services, 387s and 345s. To make use of 165/166s it would be nice to see Thames Valley branches added.

Could just be a reskin for the 710 to fit the timetable... I'd take it with a pinch of salt for now.

 

You will inevitably have some people stating it's just a reskin anyway... we've seen it with the 805.
I just hope it really won't be just a reskin...

 

I fully expect this, but I must say I am on board with using “similar” stock where available to provide life to a route in terms of AI.

Personally, I don’t particularly want to drive the 350 on GWER as it’s non prototypical stock on a route that I can drive with prototypical stock, but I really like it there as AI.

Also hoping that this new approach provides opportunities for the prototypical stock when available (I.e. class 360 when TSW 7 releases with Great Eastern Main Line ) to sub into the existing timetable in the future.

 

It could be the same AI 710's from the Mildmay Line DLC that appear at Stratford in an Elizabeth Line inspired livery.

no suggestion of a different timetable for the HST release, so presumably not included in the HST farewell release

Thanks for confirming Liam, it seems you really have a talent for new and interesting gameplay ideas, HST pack will be a day one purchase for me as appreciation for the remaster
