I’m I correct that this re-master when it comes will be for the FREE EastCoast DLC version along with the FREE class 313 emu? Or is there another version somewhere hiding. As I’m reading some guys are saying I’ll purchase it.

If you own the route its a free remaster. The class 313 is separate dlc for the route so will only get the 313 update if you own it If not you can purchase it.

Thanks for that but my main question is being on PS5 I noticed that this route along with the 313 are both showing as FREE downloads, so is there another version for tsw6 as I think these 2 items are older versions dating back to TSW 2/3

Just download them both now. They will be updated when the remaster is ready.

People should do their research because Its also like no one knew that the concourse at Cardiff central was actually stolen and they actually had to put a portal in for the passengers to get to the platform. :D

If you own it already there's a TSW6 compatible version. As far as I know all DLCs were made compatible with TSW6 to try and prevent multiple versions being downloaded as what happened with TSW5.

When the remaster is out you'll get it for free as an update, but to get the new timetable you'll have to purchase the 171/377 pack

Also the Bridge at Dawlish Warren was filled in, so the only way people can get from one platform to another is to teleport.

A mad dash across all four running lines is also acceptable, albeit a trifle more risky.

Whenever I'm there for a Holiday it really wakes me up running across all four lines, the OAPs hate it though.

Yes, if you own the TSW2/3 (or 2020, or4, 5) versions you are entitled to get the content in TSW6 without extra charge. So that should be what it would be.

I also hope the passenger situation is tweaked at some of the stations as Southease, Newhaven Harbour, Glynde and Berwick would not see many passengers.

If read the Wiki page correctly, then next to no passengers would be at Newhaven Marine (new station on line) as its a Parliamentary service served.

Anyone else annoyed that the Wivelsfield - Plumpton - Cooksbridge - Lewes has been missed off. Though a portion of line can be seen on London Commuter has per others. Queenstown Road - Clapham Junction, Norwood Junction etc etc

Eastbourne - Ashford International should be a new route in itself maybe to complement Southeastern & Medway Valley line.

The route is old so it's a bit late to be annoyed about it. A remaster won't include extensions, well not a free one.

Personally I would have liked it to have gone to Hastings but I'm generally happy to potter up and down to Lewes or Sleaford.

The upgrade and new timetable will make it so much more immersive.

Was just thinking the same. Haven’t tried SKA yet as I’m ragging the DB 140 up and down RSN but not impressed with the initial reports. Yes, I know it’s free and yes we shouldn’t be ungrateful but coming hot on the heels of what Liam did with GWE it’s more like touching up the worn paint than doing the whole banister!

I hope they release this one when it's on par with GWE remaster quality. The trains on this route will do the bouncy bouncy when passing junctions, so that's already less moaning from my side on this route.

I'm almost certain it won't be this month. When they announced this and the Koln-Aachen remaster last week, they specifically said this month for Koln-Aachen (which it was) but only soon for this. If its was planned to be this month for East Coastway, they'd have said so like they did for Koln-Aachen

I do wish London to Brighton get a remaster it need it but if not going to get a remaster would be better to be rebuilt from the ground up also added South London lines too

I just commented on this in another thread.
Add London Blackfriars so we’d have two major terminus’s to drive to and from.
Adding too many lines is another route entirely, the Brighton route has to make sense. London Blackfriars to Brighton is a popular destination and it’s close to London Victoria, which is why it’s a good option.

I doubt anyone is brave enough to touch that route, certainly not to add more to it.

A remaster of it with the current feature set would be great though, ideally with a 700 layer - again though wishful thinking.

IMO if the line to London Bridge is added, the lines via Crystal Palace and Peckham Rye should definitely be added since Southern operates services to London Bridge via these lines starting at other point that are already on the route. For example some of the Caterham services run via Streatham Common and Peckham Rye, and there are some Victoria to London Bridge services that run via Crystal Palace.

Can't help but feel a BML remaster would end up performing really crappily though, unfortunately

The problem is now you have effectively two different networks which run two different types of services. BML is for long-distance, fast services with suburban ones appearing along its stretch, and what is being suggested here is a commuter network of its own.The route is already a lot to add to it and as some have commented DTG would be in for a scare if they were to touch it and something goes wrong, which would potentially lead to a chain of events. What DTG could potentially do is create a ‘reduced’ timetable like they have done with other routes, but ideally i’d like them to remove the 375’s between East Croydon and Redhill as I feel these are contributing quite substantially to the CPU and graphic intensity on the route.

I would love to see a 455 for BML as dlc as I believe the year it's set they were still operating and then the 700 added to the timetable.

    Unlikely I suspect though.

That’s a good idea, but to me that falls into a completely separate route entirely. The main focus needs to be Brighton, if you start expending the lines too far out then it becomes something else. London Blackfriars and Bridge are in the scope of what’s realistic for the BML route and closer to Victoria IMO.

What you suggested should be another project and it would be great to see it. I’d like to see more routes start at Victoria and the main focus being Southern services. The Catford loop would work really well and extend to Sevenoaks, although a suburban, detailed route it would take a lot of effort to make.

Without taking this too off topic of ECW:R, I'd love a TSW version of TSCs South London Lines network.
