As we already have the se high-speed too faversham, i feel like the southeastern mainline could use some love by making it a bit bigger as the se high-speed route is really dead.
It’d be a nice addition, but I strongly disagree with the idea that the current route is “really dead”. First, we get the full stretch of the high speed line where the 395 travels along irl, which includes power changes at Ebsfleet and Ashford when joining the classic lines. Second, there is a nice mixture of commuter/ stopper services between Dartford and Rainham, with some outer-suburban/ long-distance services between the latter station and Faversham, some which skip intermediate stops and others calling at all points between the two stations, which additionally provides some end-to-end journeys in the 395. On top of all this, you have 4 different trains, each providing a bulk of services of its own (high-speed, outer suburban or stopper). Sadly, DTG will (highly likely) no longer be bothering with this route in terms of extensions or upgrades, as this was initially a TSW2 route which they extended for TSW3, bringing it along with some significant improvements.
I wish they extended it down to Dover Priory via Folkestone since you actually drive that way, but only as far as Ashford International. I felt the same disappointment about this stretch of line not being included as I did with ECW not having the line to Hastings.
They should get Firefly to jump on to it after they do Medway Valley, obviously Kent isn't done with from a TSW perspective just DTG
Surely they’d reconsider a revamp if demands were high. True though, more chance of Starmer remaining as PM come the re-elections in May
If you’re using that based on the forum activity a.k.a SEHS feedback thread/Last comment then you shouldn’t. Many people play this sim and are not on the forums. The only real way to know is if DTG released route play time data.
