With the recent remastered route announcements, I think that we could get Cajon Pass remastered in the future. With the remaster, we need the following:

-Add the SP/UP Palmdale Cutoff (Mojave-West Colton Yard)
-Add SP/UP West Colton Yard and both BNSF and UP Mojave Yards
-Update Barstow Yard with hump yard operations
-Add new industries on the extensions

-SP #4449 GS4 (also 9/11 American Freedom Train and BNSF Excursion liveries) w/ Excursion passenger cars

    -BNSF GP60 Spartan Cab, C44-9W/AC44C4M rebuild, SD70MAC (including patched BN and BNSF "Vomit Bonnet" units), AC4400CW, ET44C4/ACH, ES44DC/AC/ACH, SD60M(-3), SD75M/I, B40-8W

-Santa Fe #3751 4-8-4 and Excursion passenger cars

    -UP Excursion Cars/Water Tenders

    -BNSF OCS Train Cars

-Freight rolling stock: new autoracks, cement hoppers, coal hoppers/gondolas, etc.

    -More ATSF 1990s DLCs: GP60/GP60M/GP60B, GP40X, GP50, SD45-2U, SD45U, GP35U, GP30U, GP38U, SD26, C44-9W, SD75M, B40-8, B40-8W

A remaster is just lighting and scenery updates. Not adding new stock or extending.

Cajon Pass is already on TOD3 with probably the best scenery of all the us freight routes.

Also those locos to the non US fan are just a bunch of numbers. Please explain why each would be unique and enjoyable differently to what’s already in game.

Isn't the Cajon Pass a route with TOD4 lighting?

Resources would be better spent on an all new US route. As regards Cajon, could never really engage with it in TSW as opposed to Run 8. Amounts to a bunch of A to C with the trip split at B for the most part, runs.
And the most glaring issues with the scenery - the gaps in the distant hills - unlikely to be addressed.

Nah tod4 wasn’t a thing till tsw4, Tod 3 is still good just inconsistent between routes and the night lighting is pretty washed out sometimes

TOD4 is the current lighting that first came with TSW3 so Cajon Pass already has that, not TOD3.
