Birmingham Moor Street Grade 2 listed station. Adding a new TOC to TSW with express high speed services mixed with local services with a modern day diesel only route.
I think it would be incredibly long, but i am extremely unfamiliar with that mainline, so its probably shorter thsn i imagine
The route is probably at the outer limits of what's possible in TSW though the lack of catenary would possibly help with memory issues. This route is in TSC and I don't find it a particularly interesting drive. I think we have enough lines to the Midlands for the time being. It's time for developers and DTG to look at other areas of the UK that aren't in TSW.
Would be more interesting as a steam or early diesel era route. But Marylebone to Birmingham way too long in one hit. Maybe London to Banbury with Princes Risborough to Aylesbury thrown in for good measure.
I think this could be a nice self contained route set in the mid 90s when it was Marylebone to Banbury and Aylesbury. First Gen DMUs and brand new at that time Turbo Networkers in NSE. Probably one for JT.
