Wakayama & Sakurai Lines Route This route is grossly misrepresented; the frame rate is inconsistent the bell for crossings never stops ringing there is a loud buzz sound as you move around the cab, there is no switching or AI traffic. And to top it off there is a constant cuckoo sound. This route should have never been made available and to top it off I can't get my money back.
The Bell Crossings stop after the train has passed - like in Real Life. The route is not operated by Locomotives so there is nothing to switch. The route is a quiet single track route and there is some AI but it is only the same type of train. You did not bother researching the route before you purchased it - there are a number of videos on the web
Hi Westway, I love the route and also the trains, and although it is not without its faults, it does run very well on my old PC I've found. The bird noises are there but are not there all the time. The loud buzz sound in the cab is annoying but it can be stopped and switched off. You can request a refund if you have not gone over your 2 hrs play-time from Steam, and from what you've said, it does sound as if you could not tolerate playing it for very long - so do ask them - and see what they say.
