might just be me who has this bug bear, but i’m tired of scrolling through the suggestions subforum and half of the threads are people saying ‘when is this route coming’, with no detail about stations, rolling stock, or timetables. it’s been getting worse and worse for ages now and it means that actual good suggestions get lost amongst a bunch of ‘make this route from X to Y’. even worse is the AI written suggestions. that should constitute a forum ban entirely. but the point of this thread is to suggest that AI be used to check over suggestions before they get posted publicly; it would be beneficial to us as a community, as we’d get to see more detailed suggestions, as well as dtg who may be more accurately able to gauge what people want most
Whether AI or manual, I have long been a proponent that new threads submitted to this section of the forum should be vetted before publication - whether manually or by AI. SimRail do it with the Suggestions sections on their forum and presumably it thins out the chaff from the articulate and well presented ideas. For AI it doesn't need to be that specific. Just check that, 1. Posts are written in English and 2. Contain the phrase LAMPOIL which at least means the poster understands the basic principles of DTG DLC selection.
I understand what you mean about when this route will be released, that they don't add a "?" No, it's not when will it be released? You have to come up with a pure suggestion, more from your own story, and also be sure that the route or loco is consistent with the story. Furthermore, I'm wondering what you mean by AI? Do you mean "taken from Google ChatGPT"? Then I understand you, because then it's definitely cheating and less authentic of them. Because if that's what you mean, I definitely agree with you.
In fact, he's a bit fed up with childish and selfish behavior like "I want this, I want that" (I guess).
i mean precisely that. i’ve read numerous suggestions in the past few months where i could probably work out most of the command that the op gave the ai
