Hello, I think the title kinda explains my issue. Gemini didnt help after an hour long chat and I am starting to go grazy. Has anyone around here ever done this? Both my trains stubbornly keep the factory default address number 3.
Will be happy for every little help

I have tried only one train at a time. Had a delightfully frustrating chat with gemini and the final conclusion was that the 60+ year old tracks might not be in the right shape for these prpgramming shennanigans

For programming you can also use a short piece of track, that way you don't have to take als of the other trains of your layout.
It also keeps the distance between the Z21 box and the track as close as possible.

Thank you, I will try it. Does the train have to bolt when reprogrammed?

I'm not sure what you mean, but you place the train you wan't to program on the track. Don't drive. NO other trains on the track, otherwise the also will be programmed. Go to the program part in the Z21 app and change CV1 witch is standard set to 3, to the desired adres. The youtube link shows how it works in the app.

Oh, nothing, just gemini told me the train is supposed to move a little when it accepts the new address. Guess thats incorrect

Oh yes, thats happens. That normal when programming a train. Some more then others.

Once you dive into it, there is so much possible. Adjusting light functions, speed acceleration.
