Steam Unable To Complete Cardiff City Network Journey Mode Due To Train Off Path Issue

Unable to complete the journey mode for this route as the signal before Cathays which I pass it at amber to stop at the station, the train always appears to be off path and will not go any further. I did submit a support ticket but didn't get anywhere. Has anyone finished this on the steam version and how did you get around this?

 

I've run into the same issue myself

 

Bumping an old thread but I found for some reason if you remove the train in front of you, the signal will clear. Which is the 1A50. You have to do this at the start of the service.

 

Don't think you can do that in journey mode though.

 

You can now. At some point DTG made an unpublicised change to the procedure, probably for the exact reason the OP has detailed.
