Presumably similar to the sound “squelching”, as I call it, we get on PC. Personally, I don’t think they know how to fix it.
Am I missing something with the safety systems on this route? I’m well versed in German safety systems (or at least I think I am? Maybe I’m not as much as I’d like) but whenever I get a 1000hz and I press acknowledge, the train shuts down and I can’t recover it. I always play with safety systems on so it’s baffling me
Do the br642 irl take that long to speed they take forever on this route. Also its hard to keep on schedule on this route.
Can you please specify which train you're using, and where on the route this happened? I haven't encountered this particular issue... yet There are different versions equipped with different motors, but the 642's here in my region do accelerate a bit faster than the ones ingame. I think that's also part of why it's so hard to stay on schedule (the schedule is very tight regardless, there's absolutely no margin for errors).
it happens with both trains. It’s as if there is a delay because even when I do acknowledge (on either controller or keyboard) it puts the breaks on unless I do it within in instant. I really wanted to like this route but I don’t think I do
Hmm that's odd. Never had those kind of problems with any train on this route, or on any route for that matter. On the 612, the PZB controls act a bit sluggish, but on the other trains it's much more responsive. Do you acknowledge PZB after passing the signal or magnet, or are you keeping it pressed while passing and releasing shortly after moving past it? The latter is more reliable, and from what I know is the way it's supposed to be done IRL most train drivers I know seem to do both, for good measure. Approach the signal, hold "acknowledge" while passing it and acknowledge again after passing, just to be safe.
Service 54867 is majorly bugged in Journey Mode. Both the 363 and the G6 get magnetically pulled towards one side of Aschaffenburg Port, the direction of the first stop objective. At first I thought it was the 363 struggling as it tends to do, but after dropping off the freight cars at the other side of the port it took off like a rocket. The screenshot was taken with all brakes applied. Got up to around 120km/h before failing the service.
Journey mode tends to do that, it seems. That's not the only service where this happens. To quote myself from a couple of pages before:
No, unfortunately. However, there is a mod to substitue the 363 with the 294: https://www.trainsimcommunity.com/m...c19-patches/i6948-maintalbahn-294-replacement Unlike the 204, the 294 is actually driving properly. Best, Underbird II
Was this route somehow updated for the TSW 7 era? I saw some screenshots and videos on the official channel (epic settings) so I hope it will receive some love from DTG. It could be a very beautiful route but, I am not playing it because of many missing speed sings.
Since this here is the 642's home route, I thought I'd post it here Not long ago, this happened to me on Nürnberg-Würzburg: Now I just encountered this on S-Bahn Frankfurt: I'm beginning to think it's neither route nor passenger related, but somehow tied to the 642. It seems it doesn't happen on any stop, only occasionally. On my S-Bahn Frankfurt run, I had no problems at the other stops, i.e. Rüsselsheim and Mainz. And it's not restricted to one particular side of the train, see the pictures. And yes, I made sure that the correct doors were open each time. I'm in no hope that this will ever get fixed, I just wanted to point it out.
I will try it once more, but I sadly think there is no point to do it. There are still many missing signs which was reported there. ("funny" is that some of them was not missing in the original Main Spessart Bahn route).
So, started this one up yesterday and lo and behold: the Talent has a complete time table :') Tried to drive it, but of course, there is no overhead wiring for the most part, so it just stood there at Miltenberg. Strange.
