Try this alternative approach. Note, that yellow is always top (warning) and down (speed restriction), while red is in the middle.
Yes. If you have the correct channel, you will recieve a call when leaving the track with group signal – most notably Turnov -> Stará Paka from any track.

I’m kind of trying to use the radio but other than Turnov where you need to confirm the signal applies to your train - which to all intents and purposes can be done with the vanilla Contact Signaller command - it’s kind of gilding the lily. The lineside signs for channel changes are very much blink and miss them, though there is a map in the manual. However it was trial and error how to change channels on the 843 as the manual only shows this for the 750 which uses a different style radio. Also on the 843, the radio is a slight pain as it blocks some of the forward view and I don’t think you can hide it.
in the manual it says to hit F8 softkey, which prompts you to enter the number, and upon entering it, you are set and good to go ... I have only ridden 843 so far, so I can confirm this works
Totally agree, it blocks the view terribly. However, tou can't hide it in reality either. For anyone else who don't know (yet) how to change the radio channels in 843: 1. Locate the upper screen (by default black on white). 2. Press 0. 2. Insert channel number. 3. Press Enter. When dispatcher calls you, click the physical phone (next to the right window). It seems that you can probably also click Enter on the screen instead of the phone.

I will add some information. After changing the ribbon, you must perform a D test on the radio station. Press button 3 and then button 1 or F6. )1( is the dispatcher and )2( is the dispatcher at the station. If there is a black X on the ribbon change signal, I call the dispatcher via D test. If there is no X, I call the dispatcher at the station via D test. We end the call with the C key. Add: Radio connection test, it is not necessary to do it immediately, the most important thing is to always look at the railway track in front of your train. Safe train travel is the most important thing.
I'm curious: Anybody else experiencing missing train faults? So far I've taken various rides with the passenger trains, which are quite long, and it didn't even pop up one little train fault like doors or anything... that's suspicious to me. :-/
On the 843, only goes up to F6? F8 is for the 750 radio. Manual needs updating with a graphic and functional description of the 843 version. Yes that's the little arrow like icon >>>> which I found by trial and error!
sorry cos I dont remember it from streams, but how do you guys apply power in 843? not the controls, but how do you progress with power delivery, so as not to trip the motors?
More I play this: 1. More I love it 2. More I really really really would like more of a manual. With the UK rail add ons I usually play I at the very least understand the principles and usually know everything apart from arcane detail. Here I just don't... A lot of it I can make a (hopefully intelligent) guess at but dunno if I'm right or not. I imagine in time that (thanks to guys like razmatus#2517) 2nd bit will sort itself

I think the electronics regulate it anyway but I tend to go to about 33% on the gauge to pull away then once up to about 10 km/h go to around 75%. These things are so powerful running as a single car, you don’t really need 100% power even on a gradient climb. Might be a different matter on the Tanvald Line which I believe at one time was fitted for rack working.
I tried not to go into red on the amp gauge and I didnt get tripped, so I guess that works edit: I did an Sp service, aka limited stops, was fun ... I am still learning how to brake with that thing... and I hope sometime we get a faster route set in Czech Republic
Think I had that one as well but luckily at that point I was running 20+ minutes late so didn’t have to wait. Definitely need a time acceleration feature built in the core game for this sort of situation, though.
The long wait times are prototypical, as trains wait for opposite traffic and also for trains from other directions. DTG doesn't model this, or they choose to split the service into two parts. This is today's timetable for Os 5414, you can see 18 minutes wait time in Turnov.
I find the stop pleasant in the middle of the run to take a short break, once godmode gets updated, you will be able to speed things up. It would be better if the runs were split in Turnov, but the devs said that it would bug out passengers.

You just click on the sheet and it changes between german, english and czech. I have the problem in this scenario, that I am not able to speed up the train. The needle is moving in S-Position of the lever, but no power is applied...
Another question, maybe for the czech TSW players: Could somebody please transcribe what they are saying in the accouncements of the R trains? I am already able to understand the smaller station announcements on the OS trains, but the quite longer text on the R trains is like a riddle for me... Thank you!
I am trying to move the 843 after setting up cab as exactly in the tutorial and confirmed with the manual but it puts power to 10% then rolls back. Reverser is in forward key is in M, straight air brake is released but it is the same every time. If I can get it to drive, doing anything with it platform wise makes the same happen again. I have done the tutorials but it will not move as in the tutorials. One run requires changing ends and as soon as I change ends (following the manual) it does it again. How am I supposed to get this to work correctly?
tried repeatedly hitting the J notch, which releases all brakes currently held, be it electric or air ones?
This is not from a save. If I do it in a new run it will happen as soon as I change ends. The brakes are releasing but it just rolls back with no power at all.
