And they are wrong modelled too! On real ones you have a stripe/arrow on the one side and a circle on the other side. TSW only has the stripe wich is wrong!
Not all point lanterns are illuminated in the real world - some just have a reflective stripes which the locos head lamps pick out
Maybe not i Britain, but in Denmark and Germany their is light in the lanterns at night ! so its is very unrealistic at night without !!! Train Sim World 2 is also to dark at night !
Depends on their location age and condition, many thousands of them don't have lights in Germany, some of them are just a angle plate without any housing. Our railroads are not illuminated every few meters like streets etc. So the darkest night in TSW2 is very realistic and most of headlights from older trains or locos are not made for visual drive.
