Recently on the PS5 all train services say not in service on timetable mode on the train destination boards. Unsure it’s new bug but I’m sure they worked until recent update
It’s a known bug and has been acknowledged by DTG. A recent patch nuked the entire on-train PIS system on almost all the routes. Hopefully this gets fixed in this week’s patch just bought tons of content during the PlayStation sale and it’s kinda sad to have no train with working PIS on the otherwise quite impressive new routes I got.
I saw some users theorizing the accidental release (and subsequent removal) of the new rolling stock fixes and memory optimizations for SEHS might have caused it. But that only happened on Steam to my knowledge, and the PIS issue appears to show up on all platforms, so it must have been part of a normal QA-tested patch… which is kinda worrying.
Only noticed the last few days when I been going on different routes on timetable mode and always comes up with out of service on the train your driving regardless of which route you go on. not a big issue but it would be nice if they fixed it on the next update
You should have waited. The Playstation Spring sale starts on Wednesday, and the discounts are going to be much higher.
I got a 60% discount on the Special Edition, plus 70% and 90% on two other route add-ons I’ve had my eyes on for a while. Sounds like a good deal to me! I do appreciate the info, though. I always keep an eye on the discounts, and there are some add-ons I passed on this time around, waiting for a bigger discount in the future. It’s gonna be very hard to get me to buy anything in the coming weeks though (unless it’s like 90% off), I purchased all this content last Sunday and have just scratched the surface exploring everything. I loove trying out all the stuff the Special Edition came with. There are some add-ons I would never have bought individually, but they’re surprisingly fun. Reminds me of the time when I got one of the big TSW2020 editions on sale for like 9 bucks back when I started exploring TSW.
No worries. To be honest, it's hard to resist TSW packs when they go on sale. I only found out about the Spring sale the other day by chance, as early access deals went live for Playstation Plus members. It should be live for everybody on Wednesday, with a lot more stuff being added.
Seems like the new discounts are live. Had a little look at them… there’s definitely a lot. But the offers aren’t as good as those that end today, in my opinion. Not as many steep discounts; instead, lots of medium-sized price reductions for locos and newer routes, plus the 60% on the Deluxe Edition for those who want the TSW6 content without the additional Special Edition stuff. I’m really glad I found lots of good offers during the last sale… don’t think I’ll grab anything here. The recently remastered Class 313 for 60% off is probably the most intriguing one. The mention of this being “Part 1” of the sale has me intrigued, though! Maybe we’ll see another set of discounts in April or so.
