Dovetail have so many suggestions for routes for TSC and they still do not care? Why do Dovetail not listening to their users and start doing routes again which the users want for TSC? And why do they have the suggestion thread when they do not do any new routes?
Quite simply because they are not currently developing more routes because the sales levels do not justify it. Ignore the insulting and irrelevant comments that some people choose to make. John
I think it has been said that DTG are not making anything for TSC more than once So what other threads do you suggest they should close?
3P’s (freeware or payware) might still peruse the Suggestions section in search of potential projects.
I would say especially not 3ps (free or pay) doing that. The suggestion areas (any on the net) are just a wish list of all routes and trains in the world. If you ask people what they want the answer is always "Yes" That's not how you select a project.
I did say “might”, Maik! But actually I agree, when building routes for Trainz it was what I thought was interesting to me, which is why you ended up with the long closed Sulitjelma line in northern Norway and the Kovdor branch in Karelia, amongst others. Yes, I like remote single track railways traversing desolate tundra or mountains with the occasional lake or forest…
They have already said they are not going to make any new routes for TSC New routes will have to come from Third Party Developers - such as the Dutch Route which is supposed to be coming.
