Will the MVL feature the same rail singing audio as GWE and ECW? Would be cool to see it have improved sounds like the “pulsing” audio you hear from the 3rd rail when a train passes at speed .

Yeah I don’t overall disagree, I just think that in comparison to even 3 years ago, there’s at least more seriousness to certain content & more dev interest in (at least some) aspects of realism. Really this just loops back to what I said regarding the guard function above, not much content at all is designed to move the game forward as a whole, just certain subsets of DLC’s. ie combining the pro 101 & 145 into TT’s will make a big difference to several German routes, whereas the Czech or Medway Valley will be more self contained experiences (until we get more content from those devs, but it’s likely not going to exist for wider content). An overarching issue with TSW has always been how disjointed it is, it’s likely the biggest reason we see so many issues & inconsistencies with features.
I am looking forward to tonight too. I will be looking to see if I can spot my aunt's house in Cuxton as the railway is behind it.
Well done on doing this but let’s be honest why have we got to TSW6 and DTG still have not changed this at core level to allow a virtual guard to close doors without driver interaction, it’s beyond me.

Everybody involved wants this game to be the best it can possibly be to: 1. attract more customers and spend more money. 2. keep existing customers and spend more money.
What a shambles! The preview delayed until next week so they can release the New York-Stamford DLC tomorrow? It all seems very haphazard and rushing around like headless chickens.

Disappointing the preview stream has been cancelled today? Yes. But only because of the anticipation of how much I'm excited for MVL. These things happen unfortunately. Frustrating from an excitement I have for the route perspective... But we'll all live another day. I can guarantee the release date will be very soon too, so nothing to lose any sleep over or getting massively worked up about.
But still a bit frustrating, considering the postponed stream being the second one this week. I actually kept my schedule free this evening to enjoy the preview of MVL. Note to future me: Do not rely on DTG schedules
I really feel for you guys, I don’t know if you can answer, but can you not do an independent preview on your own socials rather than waiting for DisappoinTingG to preview?
We're afraid there's no build to preview at this moment - as Harry has said. The unfortunate issue with the Stamford M8, had a knock on effect to the pipeline. It's quite complex, but we're in a slightly delayed queue for getting a preview build put together.
I see, I wonder how ATS can preview the 90 on his socials, but tbh, I wouldn’t be surprised to see them try to postpone that too
I’ve noticed this too. All these recent releases have been pretty close to each other. That’s a shame about another preview stream being postponed…. But hopefully it won’t be a long wait…
Oh where do i start… such a dissapointment- i planned my whole evening to be free for the MVL preview stream and oh it gets delayed . I feel as thought DTG should’ve held off on the NEC route until next week, and doing so didn’t delay ANOTHER preview stream! I really do feel for Firefly, as I’m sure them upset to. Ive mentioned this route many times before and how excited and passionate i am about it, ive been thrilled since it got announced last December, and I’m not even that local to the route (thought electrostars do serve my local stations). It’s more the fact that this route is insane quality and what the community have been asking for; Incredible sounds, scenery and the host of new features, it’s perfect ! That’s not to mention Firefly have been addressing issues (like blurry textures and performance stability) more seriously and actually taking drastic action, something that DTG and no other 3rd parties have done. On a brighter note, I’m glad that they are working on an article as i speak- hope it’s a big one and i hope it’s released later today if not later this week in compensation to the stream being delayed .
Nah, they'll just use their own builds and stream it themselves. Like they did with Manchester Airport.
It's disappointing as I had also made plans to watch the stream this evening but it's not the end of the world. I'll just drive some trains instead. It will just whet the pallet for when it's rescheduled and I'm sure is worth waiting for.
If I had to guess it's probably because when he streamed with DTG for the release of MAC a few 'naughty' words slipped off his tongue lol. Probably to avoid that on the official DTG channel if I had to take a guess.
Delaying the preview stream is laughable at this point. DTG are in a downward spiral, I say give third parties their own licence and let them get on with it.

As Bescot said, it’s complicated but ultimately it comes down to scheduling. There is a pipeline and the pipeline has shifted to the right a bit. Frustrating as it is, it is not the end of the world by any stretch. The route and updates to the other trains are ready to go, the rest of it is out of our hands at this point. That’s just the way things are sometimes.
This happens to me too on this route lol. Another culprit is the 170 on the FCL. I pass the fourth bridge and on my way to Markinch and my eyes start feeling heavy. Save and resume tomorrow. The passengers will have to pitch up their tents and camp for the night, Glastonbury style

I’m really looking forward to this stream. I for one can’t wait until you guys can show the route as I have been witness first hand the quality content they have created. As Jetwash mentioned, they are circumstances that are out of our control.
Disappointed as I am about the preview, it's the one route I'm really confident I'm going to enjoy and will be a quality release. So I don't really need a preview stream. I was just looking forward to a relaxing evening watching something I'm looking forward to. DTG are having a bit of a nightmare recently even by their standards. But, I still love the game. I just think they get their priorities wrong a lot of the time.

The 750 on the Czech route does that on a night time run. Not because it is boring, but because the whole experience is totally zen and relaxing!

Just for what it's worth I've always found your input friendly and interactive. Not that it's anyone specific in this thread, but I have noticed the hostility towards staff/Devs/beta testers increase over the last few months. As I've said previously, I don't think there is anything wrong with people criticising the game or bringing issues upto the Devs, or maybe airing their frustration in a constructive way. I think that's the beauty of the forum when it's done responsibly and constructively (even strong worded stuff is helpful sometimes if it actually contributes to making the game better). So just to clarify that... However, I have noticed a fair few people crossing that line recently and going from strong worded constructive criticism, to full on rudeness, hostility and generally derogatory comments at times. All I am is a simple forum member myself, but it really rubs me up the wrong way when it becomes an attack on staff/Devs/beta testers and I feel where it's appropriate those people are called out as it's beginning to cross the line (well I think so anyway). Anyway, on the topic of MVL, it looks like it been beyond the Devs control unfortunately and it is what it is... But hearing beta testers compliment openly makes me excited. This is the route I've been most excited for since hearing about it in the Christmas reveals. Hopefully we'll have it to play by the end of March (I hope!).
I reckon we will get the preview stream next week with a release possibly Thursday next week if not then 100 percent following week, Look how quickly the M8 got resolved from a postponed preview stream to release tomorrow so DTG will be able to catch up pretty quickly with things i imagine. They will want it released just as much as the developers will. Still looking forward to seeing the preview or release article if it just came to that. You can tell the developers of this have gave it all they can and deserve to be rewarded for that.
Far from it happy to buy my content if i am interested in it. Bit funny you call me salty when you are the one who made a post crying over a preview stream getting cancelled.
One of the things I'm most looking forward to is hearing the new Electrostar sounds, the functional GSMR, and operational CCTV... Its like an expert mode 375! I think that's where my frustration with the delay around the preview stream was because the quality just shines from the route and rolling stock and was looking forward to the taster to hype me up further. Sympathy with the Devs though as they sound equally disappointed not being able to show the content off with and showing a completely new bar of quality for TSW too. Good things come to those who wait though, I'm sure none of it was intentional from any party involved.
What did I miss? Has chaos erupted yet again MVL can’t arrive too soon. I keep reading new information from the devs on what separates this route from others. It’s exciting stuff.

It’s the internet, everyone gets offended from time to time, myself included. I wouldn’t get offended if you called me a beta tester though, as I know what I am. I choice the path of the console and I’m sticking with it, donning the title of “beta tester” as well
