That’s beeping you hear is the closing door. Remember that video is at 6x the speed.

AI horns at stations is a fantastic immersive addition. It begs two questions: will this capability be retroactively added to any existing routes (Morristown especially), and can it be expanded to include bells (arriving and departing NJT/Amtrak services) and/or grade crossing horn sequences?

Was there any idea to combine this route with the Harlem Line? Woodlawn is about half of the existing route. The old scenery could have been left on the rest half.

 

Not sure what you mean, that horn on the m8 is not the same as the horn M7A or M3A. I love the horn on the M8

 

On the ACS-64 does the cruise control work now.

So they postpone a preview stream yet release said route the same week the preview stream is postponed. Sorry but this does not fill me with confidence this will clearly have serious issues in release they just didn’t want to show them on a stream. Then say “we will release a patch in due course”. Wonder if it’s because of a certain time of year they want all this content released so release after release after release.

I hope that DTG does know M8 cars coupled for service is used differently.
For example, New Canaan bounds uses 5 cars, or 6 cars

Stamford & New Haven bounds use between 6 cars to 11 cars.

 

I thought they where almost the same how are they different you dont me asking.

 

I would be very careful about answering questions especially if you are under NDA and doing it on dovetails own forums. You sign a NDA for a reason.

Check out the stream tomorrow but in general, the safety systems on the M8 work in a very similar way to the M7a and M3a from the Harlem DLC. On LIRR, the M7 and M9 are more aggressive when you encounter a speed reduction for example.

Yea your right just done a short run on both and they operate in same way almost. But harlem is alot less aggressive then lirr.

 

I miss the opportunity to get a preview discount. And Xbox isn’t too keen on discounts either. Something you can change?

Can you confirm or deny Rivet have been involved with building this add on and to what extent their involvement is?

Which actually leads to a second question, which I know won’t be answered but anyway, do you actually have a competent in house US routes if building team on staff anymore or have they all been let go or deployed on other projects?

 

I wouldn’t expect an answer from this. They withheld rivet was involved in Cardiff until Matt basically told people who kept asking in the Cardiff live stream.

as far as I know there’s only a fast travel point to Sunnyside side yard in that area

No . That’s on LIRR2 that uses hunters point

 

Why was the old training modules used for the SD40 and ACS-64.

 

So why put route tasks at that station if there are no services that go there and we cant fast travel there.
