After the most recent update, the AWS buttons are not responding to input from the Q key on seemingly all of DTG's heritage UK locos. From my testing the button has no response unless actually clicked with the mouse on the 20, 31, 33, 37 (TVL and WCL) and 45. I found that the 66 does work, as well as the JustTrains 47 and 86, and the 150.

I have verified that I do have the Q key bound correctly, and that the issue persists after a game restart. The only change I have made to the default safety system control setup is to separate the Q key from also activating the vigilance pedal, and that is because I use a physical pedal from TS Controllers instead. Also, these safety systems were definitely working before the update and nothing about my setup or inputs has changed. This issue does apply to both TS Controller's AWS button which itself is just a Q keybind anyway, and the actual Q key on the keyboard.

On further investigation I have found that these locos will only respond to the full 'Alerter/DSD/DVD/Sifa Reset' bind, not the lone 'AWS Reset' bind. I am almost certain this was not the case before.

Some of the older locos, in TVL for example, have the AWS button bound to 'E' by default.

Can confirm, after resetting all control binds to default, that this is not the case. E gets you out of your seat. AWS has only ever been Q going right back to the TSC days.

Sorry, I'd forgotten that I'd separated the AWS and Vigilance reset mapping to have AWS on 'Q' and Vigilance on 'E' to align with TSC. I use 'Shift + E' for getting up and sitting down. However I've just reset the mapping to default and in the TVL 20 and 31, others not tested, 'Q' does operate the AWS button. On those locos does using your vigilance pedal cancel the AWS by any chance?
Those older locos are the only ones where I have to use 'E' for the AWS with my preferred mapping so there's something different about their setup compared with the more modern stuff.

I've been talking about this in a Discord server so I'll copy my test results here.

Did some more testing, binding Q to just AWS and numpad . to Alerter/DSD/DVD/Sifa. Cycling through my almost full UK collection, the ones that do not respond to the AWS bind are:
    Both Class 20s
    TVL Class 31
    WSR Class 33
    All Class 37s
    Both Class 40s
    Both Class 45s
    NTP and BPO Class 47s

Which leaves the ones responding to the AWS Reset bind to be:
WSR, WCMLoS and ECML Class 47s
WSR Class 52 (don't yet have DLoGW to test that 52)
    All Class 66s
    Class 86
    Class 87
    All EMUs/DMUs

And back to the HST, this is a different case entirely. On all versions it seems that the AWS does actually respond to the AWS Reset bind, however when hitting the Alerter/DSD/DVD/Sifa key it is only the DSD pedal which responds, the AWS does not. This is the only UK train I can find where this is the case.

Odd that with us both trying the default key binds 'Q' works for me in the TVL 31 for example and not for you. Does the AWS of those in the first list respond to 'numpad .' with your mapping?

Yes, the combined Alerter/DSD bind works the AWS on all trains except the HST. The first list is the trains where the AWS Reset bind doesn't also work. In the HST I have to use both in combination.

Most people probably wouldn't notice this because by default both are mapped to the same button and its probably very rare for someone to have a need to separate them.

I think it's safe to say that the recent update isn't to blame here. As far as I can remember those locos have always been like that.

I've been messaging with Matt in a Discord server and you seem to be right here, it seems like the split binding was added at some point and trains released before it just dont support it. That does still leave the HST in the air mind you as I am fairly certain I have used it with the safety systems on since I separated the controls. Either way at least I know what to switch in future.
