Ok funny thing, was just in another topic talking about TSW and the PS5 pro. Then just went to the PS store and what game is now sitting under the PS5 pro enhanced menu. Yep it's TSW6

    Care to explain DTG

Right, I am off to boot the game up as I have to check this out

So now the bugs and visual glitches are all displayed in 4K 120fps.

It won't fix them, but at least they'll look crisper.

DTG Harry is this true, also if so will TSW6 be updated in an upcoming patch?
I currently don’t notice any Pro enhancements.

After nearly 10 years of TSW we’re still waiting for ‘PC Enhanced’, as features like DLSS and FSR upscaling are still absent from the game, not to mention the lack of native HDR support. I would therefore not hold your breath for any console enhancements.

    There are no PC enhancements.

DTG just expect you to buy an RTX 3090 > RTX 4090 > 5090 every year to brute force the poor game optimisation to a stable 60FPS.

Unless you are Elon Musk, don't even try to keep-up. Just embrace the bad FPS and a stable bank account.

    Good if this offers enhancements

I noticed the game also supports streaming now and tried it a few months back on ps portal; worked really well, although not all owned content was being pulled through (at the time)… Will try again actually as like the thought of this over constantly re-installing content; it was good quality, so if it’s there and just works, makes the update cycle less painful

I do have awesome Gbit broadband, so appreciate this influences the outcome somewhat

This isn’t done by DTG, but upscaled by the console itself.
In the PlayStation store it now has the pro enhanced label. I asked candacedtg about this as she’s usually floating around at the weekend to answer questions. Still waiting for a response.

The game developer still has to enable PSSR upscaling in the game, so no different from DLSS.

I’m hoping that will happen in an upcoming patch. As the Pro Enhancement is shown in store so it should reflect that in game.

IMG_3149.png IMG_3150.jpeg DTG Harry Hi Harry can I get a confirmation on this, that PS5 Pro Enhanced support is coming to TSW6.
    Maybe in an upcoming patch?
In the PSN store it’s advertised as having pro support. Thanks.

I’d be surprised by this only because the same thing has happened with other games where they list them as PS5 Pro Enhanced and that’s not actually the case. Thinking specifically of College Football 25 and 26. Just because it says PS5 Pro Enhanced doesn’t mean it is. XBox has the same with their Series X equivalent.

Same with WWE 2K26 and The Show 26. There is no difference between the Pro version and the regular version and they are complaining all over those forums as well.

So TSW is not the only one and is probably more of a Sony issue.

However all Sony has to do is unlock the FPS on any product and they can say its enhanced.

Thats all Microsoft did originally with games having a Series X enhancement.

The problem is the current build of PSSR is very basic, but with the addition of PSSR v2 rolling out this spring we should see major improvements on games across the board.
Silent hill 2 & F, MH: Wild Lands, Alan Wake 2, FF7: Rebirth and few others are rolling out soon. Silent Hill F I haven’t played and FF7: Rebirth I still need to finish so win win my book.

Both of those are what brought it to mind. Forums over there are just as toxic if not worse than here and people are losing their minds about it. And it’s much more of a Sony issue like you mentioned.
