So that means they are not there. Obviously they exist in the game cause you can't have Dostos just sticking out without cab car. Does that mean PIS is there in LIRR by your definition too?

I wish they would fix the passengers......on ECW as you pull into a platform.....there is like 5people on the platform waiting......then another 30odd swarming onto the platform, however only the original 5 get on, and the other 30 just stand there, at every single station its so unrealistic it ruins the game to be honest.

How is it OMSI has got boarding passengers both tram and bus, but none of the train sims simulate that? I’m just curious is all. Before people start the steamroller :D

Passengers do walk onto trains in TSW.

Not really. TSW passengers walk on board through the doors and then teleport to a seat of their choice.

In OMSI, they walk up to the door and wait for you to open it, then walk inside, may or may not want to buy a ticket, then walk all the way right next to the seat they chose (even if its in the upper deck of a double decker or rear part of a bendy bus) and only then plop into a seated state. And they get off the same way pretty much. Stand up some distance away from their stop, walk to and queue up in front of the exit and wait until it opens.

I know. But it’s not like in TS1 where they teleport from the platform.

The comparison was to OMSI, not TS1. (Which really is TS2 by the way, TS1 was released in 2001 by Microsoft)

Actually for DTG TS1 refers to the Railworks / Train Simulator 2020 project. :) But I get where you're getting at...

Im still alive then that’s good lol. The comparison to OMSI was in terms of technology - an old game can do this but TSW can’t, it’s just aligning the two, there’s a path system in OMSI which people follow, and depending on points in side a vehicle is where they’ll walk to before choosing a seat.

With TSW, id of thought we’d of seen some of this next level of immersion. Meh

My first post and it's sort of a request :p
I should start of by thanking DG for a great game, I really enjoy it, and thanks to the community for being so alive that finding answers to any question is so easy :)
You can clearly see how things are improving by each dlc, unfortunately my favorite dlc's have to be the oldest ones, mainly NEC with missing traffic and to little ambient sounds, but what I really miss, and hope will be coming, is locomotives for switching operations on the german tracks.

I’m hoping we’ll see something from Ireland like Belfast to Bangor.

Belfast to Bangor is about 13 miles and contains no significant branches - it's largely just uninterrupted double track. It seems a little unambitious (so it'll probably be announced shortly...).

I'm struggling to think of a bit of the NI that'd be both feasible and interesting. There's three main routes and they all basically run in a straight line out of Belfast so each one on its own wouldn't have a particularly varied gameplay. Maybe a three-pronged route containing the start of all of the branches (so Antrim-Belfast-Bangor-Lisburn). But that has pretty artificial end points and is probably also too long for DTG at the moment.

This might be possible to fix given a couple Engine.ini tweaks. Let me do some tinkering.

I think what needs to come soon is a description of what that TrainSimWorld control is for like this it will make life much easier for every player to set up the settings!

Easy Life = More Fun! :)

You can't at the moment because DTG have not decided the price, but you can add it to your steam wishlist:

When was multiplayer officially announced? They said it was on the priority list but wasn't included in TSW2 just yet.

People see "It's coming" and then think it's confirmed. It isn't.

Coming soon to Train Sim World: another credit card transaction on your statement for content you probably didn't want.
    Love DTG.

You know your right. Isn't that the price of a full fledged route? And there's 3 PLUS new features? But you know what, im happy with it. Im gonna just keep my big mouth shut for now and pray it stays the same.

25 pounds is good price for 3 routes and updated / improved TrainSim engine with new functions. (ok only 2 because CSX is already in my library)..

I will give it a chance. I love this game despite annoying bugs and unfulfiled promises. And i would like to keep playing it.
I believe that DTG learned from their mistakes about current TSW.

I hope they will fix bugs in "Preserved collection" finally. I also hope they will fulfil their promises finally and do better communication with community.

We'll see what will happen in August.

    Same here!
They launched the official website for TSW2 now. From that description, the CSX got upgraded to the new technology and got expanded in content.
