I will say generally it is suggested to back out to the menu after completing a service, especially on Xbox. The more runs you do without going back to menu, the higher your chance of getting instabality/a texture blurring issue there is. TSW doesn't clear it's memory perfectly (most games don't), and it will build up without unloading the world back to the menu.

So yes I did do multiple runs in a single load and only experienced blurry textures at the end of the service around strood. I did a run in the 465 from gravesend to strood straight after and blurry textures appeared again around strood. I can’t remember the service Headcode, I’ll check in the morning. Hope that helps ;).

Yeah that'll be why then, should only really be doing a single service per load in to be safe, or at most two. Any more than that and you're really going to make blurry textures more and more likely.
With the way TSW handles memory unloading (every train you encounter remains in memory), that will always be an issue, optimisation will only make it take longer. You really should return to the menu after every service, or at max every other service. Otherwise you will encounter issues.

I also have CtD even without the ini files, and it seems that crashes only happen when you are near or running a train. I suspect some Nvidia Drivers does not like the new features, so looking into graphics driver issue. I am on 581.80, upgrading to 595.97 to see if issue still persist.

EDIT: Issue is resolved! Did a 100mph run through and no crashes.
Anyone who still have crashes, please update your graphics driver. (Especially Nvidia users)

That's wild that it doesn't cull trains from memory when no they're longer around, is that the case for trains that (presumably) despawn as they go off the map?

Yep, currently when a train is loaded into memory, it stays in memory until you go back to the menu. So no matter how much we optimise, every train that loads is permanently taking up memory.
We optimised enough that you should be good enough for one and a half - two hours of being in the same session on Xbox (vast majority of normal gameplay), but beyond that you're more and more likely to get blurry textures as the game doesn't unload trains.
