    Yes the link was wrong - the full mod has a bat file for you to create your own Pak

    What should i change here?
    C:\TSWMods\TrainSimWorld5Mod\Engine\Binaries\Win64\UnrealPak.exe


    1. Extract contents of this .zip file to a folder

    1. Put the latest god mode .pak file in the PutGodModeHere folder

    2. Open UnrealPakLocation.ini and change the location to wherever UnrealPak.exe is

    3. Start Run.bat

    4. Put the newly created GodMode_TSW6_Temporary_Addon.pak in the TSW 6 DLC folder

    I've sent you a private message with a link to the the .pak file that I am using. Maybe that's easier. If you can check it works then I'll post the link here.

    Not sure if DTG allow links to be posted here but here is a link to my OneDrive with a pak file to enable god mode for Stara Paka. Use it at your own risk. In case the link is removed you can Private message me and I'll send it to you. I'll remove it myself if god mode gets updated.

    All right, it's first-world problem time. Now that I have replaced the Potato with Godzookie (Godzilla's smaller sidekick), I have a couple of issues that didn't trouble me before:

    Flickering shadows, on the train and in the cab (not static shadows). I assume that this is a refresh rate issue causing a strobe, but can't figure it out. I assume some combination of game and monitor RR combined with turning G-Sync either on or off will fix it, but I can't get it sorted.

    Also, moire patterns in fences. Not remotely as bad as it used to be, but I'd like to eliminate completely.

    Which routes with the shadows?

    The only thing that will sort the fences is DTG adopting new AA methodology (DLAA). There’s literally nothing more can be done about it other than upping your screen percentage. I’ve tried absolutely everything I can

    Hi.

    If you are using DX12, you will suffer a lot of shadow flickering, although this brings bout a lot less micro stuttering.

    I've reverted back to DX11

    Are the Medway Valley settings added via the godmode tab? If so, would someone please explain how?

    Yes, but GodMode will need updating first

    Those settings are for ‘beast’, so will need adapting to your machine as normal

    JUst wondering, JW? do you recommend turning VSync on or off? And do you suggest capping frame rate?

    I or Tigert1966 will do our best to create a temporary file for the godmode again when its not updated by Foobian

    I have now updated my Lighting Enhancement engine.ini mod to include all TSW6 routes except (I believe) Heilbronn which I don't own.

    This version of the mod has not been tested so I can't account for typos etc but it should absolutely be compatible with all routes, including Medway Valley, stopping any ini related crashes people have been having. You must update both the main engine.ini and GodMode save as explained in the accompanying manual.

    Should there be an error in the mod I'm happy to correct it but I’d like to clarify, should people still wish to use their own ini setups, or ones made by others and still encounter crashes at any point with TSW6 then that is obviously your own choice. I will not be providing any more support in these circumstances for those suffering crashes related to engine.ini modifications.

    Oh balls. Yes, you are absolutely correct, those are some of the lines that have been causing crashes for me in TSW6.

    I’ve updated the download page, thanks for spotting that.

    Updated my engine.ini to your latest, nothing else custom in there. Updated the GodeMode save file and GodMode pak file, still getting crashes.

    IGNORE THIS! I went back and took another look at my Engine file and I somehow messed up the copy because I still had the streaming lines in there. My mistake but I’m glad it was. Fixed now, and checked, will try again tomorrow.

    I’m almost certain that the lines that I have removed that relate to memory streaming, garbage collection and a host of others are to blame for the crashes. This started happening for me the minute TSW6 was released and I’d long since removed them. Once I did that my game has been rock solid since across all DLC.

    It is imperative you copy across the text in it’s entirety and overwrite what is already there making sure you save it when you have done so.

    Well, you need to update my mod to the latest version as described above. I can only guarantee what my mod does, and using ini settings from elsewhere is likely to cause unpredictable results.
