The emperor request to bow for him another Give him some like and if he's in his good mood does he not expect furthers More from you, or you have just good luck
Thanks for waiting star lords or should i call you guys maybe brick masters These are the latest photos of my giant lego star wars collection and you can call it the Imperial army and fleet if you want or just call it what you want
yes that's indeed a awesome collection, and next year in september i will buy the UCS Death Star that costs thousand euro
I've seen it in person at my local Lego store, the online pictures don't do it justice just how massive it is. I keep seeing rumors of a UCS SSD next year, so it'll be interesting to see what comes of that.
Nice, I heard about that too. If the rumors are right and it Will be released, I will get it when i buyed the death star because The super star destroyer is important for the empire as well me too
Maybe keep the two away from each other lol At the very least, keep any A-Wings you have away from the SSD...
Debating the Super Star Destroyer myself aswell if the rumours are true, got just enough room maybe above the venator. I have spent a lot on Lego now though probably over my comfort limits, it needs to be brought to a halt I picked up the Effiel tower icon set now aswell, I should get around to building it by January, trying to get around to finish the Harry Potter icons set first.
Oh yes, quite a bit more, but until my wife and I find a house most of my collection is in storage. I plan on having a dedicated Lego room where I can display some Star Wars dioramas. I had to get creative when I ordered him. The complete minifigure was unavailable at the time, just the helmet. So I used the body from a red "Build a Fig" Phase 2 clone, and gave him a kama because I think they look cool lol.
I don't know why, but I've always had a thing for the vehicles in the old Adventurer's theme since I was a little kid, despite not being into the theme as a whole. One of my favorite vehicles was the truck from 5988 Pharaoh's Forbidden Ruins, but I have no interest in the rest of the set. Well, I finally decided to download the instructions and Bricklink the parts for the truck, and I am now a very happy boy lol.
Finally got my last large 90's town set from my list All that's left now are filler vehicles and base plates
Lol it would have been funny if Lego added a little Easter Egg of that to the most recent Death Star I'm not a fan of the new night troopers, and wanted my Thrawn to have a custom body guard trooper. I took inspiration from the purge troopers. The detail on Thrawn is on Lego, as he's official from them and not a custom. It's a small enough detail that doesn't bother me, though, I'm just happy to have him in my collection. The sets are, and the clones are. The senate commandos are from an older battle pack. A lot, lol. When I get a house and start doing dioramas, I'll do a proper head count.
Just finished building this, quite the grind to get it finished but I like the impressive end result. it did collapse a bit on my first build of it but hopefully won’t again im working on Neuchwanstein Castle now and got my eye on a few sets for later on in the year.
Last piece of the puzzle for my vintage Star Wars collection I now own every system Star Wars set from '99 - '01; just need a house and a bigger display case now to build the rest of them.
Very scenic Neuchwanstein Castle, as seen in the pictures I think the autumn setting is my favourite (you get 2 sets of the trees to switch them between the seasons/except the ones you see in this image as green as they don’t change in reality) And the real life castle on the TV for background purposes
Gave that one to my wife this past Christmas (she was there on a trip a few years back). I was surprised how heavy the damn box was lol.
So, a short while ago, I decided to treat myself and fulfil a life-long dream. I finally gathered together a set of the Lego Santa Fe Super Chief! I've had the loco for almost as long as I could think, but none of the coaches. So, I rebuilt them in stud.io (using light blueish gray for obvious reasons) and made changes as necessary for the doors, mainly. I ordered the parts and here we are. I also designed a B-unit to help running the train as one motor was a bit too weak. Both the A-unit and B-unit are motorised using powered-up and pull the 5 coaches just fine. Stickers are "designed" (i.e. made in word with fonts and pictures from Google) by me. I'll post some additional pictures in posts below because of the picture limit. The original A-unit. My B-unit design. The mail car. The baggage car. The dining car.
The sleeper/coach. The observation car. A different look at the observation car with sticker. And a closer look at the other stickers I made:
Ooo nice! I remember having the F-Unit when it first came out! I've thought about picking another up, but the prices on Bricklink and eBay have just been dumb. I might at some point part it out like you've done, but for now I have other vintage sets on my list to grab. Also, if you're ever in need of reproduction sticker sheets, I've used the PassionForBricks shop on Etsy before and they've been amazing! They even made a custom sheet for me for the old Shell gas station set that came out back in the late 90's/early 00's (the stickers on mine are peeling). https://www.etsy.com/shop/PassionForBricks?ref=shop_sugg_market
Wholeheartedly agree! Just today, I looked at 75025 (since I love Star Wars and especially SWTOR) to add to my 9500 I have and quickly decided against a closer look given the now ridiculous prices. Parting out the Super Chief in modern colours was expensive enough as is - would only recommend if it was a childhood dream like for me - but still only a fraction of the cost of what original sets would have cost. I'm happy with how it came out, even if the colours are a bit mismatched. Thank you so much! I was on the lookout for something like this based in Europe but had never stumbled across them before. I'll definitely give them a try in the future.
