I really thought we were past these days, but apparently not the first day I loaded up New York to Stanford. I was expecting busy stations, trains left, and right wherever I looked, which don’t get me wrong when I enter Grand Central, it was, but when I went to Penn Station, it was a whole other story. The moment I spawned in I looked I thought I was back in the original train sim world and I thought to myself this has to be a glitch or something so I left close the game restart join back in and it was the same story keep in mind I own every single American route and when I say every route, I mean every route, I was expecting to see Long Island railroad Amtrak, New Jersey transit and I saw none of it. It was just a ghost town same with the freight. I went to go play a freight route expecting to see a whole bunch of different cargo, but it was just the garbage train with some sand patch grade freight I was expecting a lot from this route and it really did let me down but at this point it just feels numb. I don’t want people to have to experience that that’s why I’m making this post. If you want the evidence here it is upload_2026-3-30_14-56-44.jpeg

Do you have the necessary layers correctly enabled in the selection list?
(Off the top of my head, Morristown, LIRR Commuter, the M3, and the Acela)
As long as you have them all installed they should be there, but something might have disabled them is the best I can guess.

I spawned in at the time in your screenshots next to an NJT train, with Eight LIRR trains coming and going, a mix of M3s and M7s, and an Amtrak service present, and another NJT pulled in as I was typing this response.

All the layers combined will definitely give you a much busier timetable with a ton of AI across the board

OK I Every single timetable on, but for some weird reason, sunny side yard is still somewhat a ghost town. The only difference now is there’s one Amtrak and one NJT EVERY SINGLE TIMETABLE ON, BUT FOR SOME WEIRD REASON, SUNNY SIDE YARD IS STILL SOMEWHAT A GHOST TOWN. THE ONLY DIFFERENCE NOW IS THERE’S ONE AMTRAK AND ONE NEW JERSEY TRANSIT NJT AND I’M ALSO SURPRISED THEY DIDN’T ADD ANYTHING FROM THE MORRISTOWN LINE MISS OPPORTUNITY.

Sunnyside was left intentionally sparse this time around, I think the explanation was to avoid a similar FPS hit to what you experience coming out of Hoboken on Morristown.
