When Xbox Sale?

I wondered why steam and playstation already have their sales! but im on pc game pass and i want to have the xbox sale. when is it coming?

Before steam and PS sales I was saying the same thing when Xbox were having their sales.

Be patient and be sure to pick up what you want when the sales go live.

 

I do hope that when they have the Xbox Spring sale there will some decent items on sale. Very often the sales seem to be on outdated routes that nobody wants.

If you're gonna say that you don't have control over when you have sales on Xbox, then at least make it count when you do.

Every 2nd sale seems to be the base game version on sale and not any DLC if you haven't noticed.

Its a been a trend for the last 4 years.

 

They do have a say it's their product. I posted a few responses a while back from Xbox support.

 

Just picked up the Train Sim world 6 deluxe. I always wait for a high % off the standard edition or deluxe depending what it comes with. Unfortunately it's a long wait but for me it's a good price to purchase at.

 

I don’t see how that’s possible. Why would DTG put sales on every other platform but not Xbox? Makes absolutely no sense. Also, most of the Xbox stuff is already discounted permanently if you have Game Pass.

That's alright. Also rather interesting how TSW 6 is not on gamepass but TSW5 still is. And also how when TSW content does go on offer it has been the TSW6 compatible version not the TSW5 version.

 

When challenged on the lack of XBOX DLC discounts the folks at DTG have always said that this is down to MS, so interesting that XBOX support don't appear to corroborate this.

 

This has to be pure nonsense. Every single big name game has been on sale at some point, but MS put a block on Train Sim? Yeah right.

 

Honestly I don't really buy the whole "DTG have zero control over console sales" thing. Even if they only have little control over when sales happen, surely they have some control over the items put on sale? Its usually the same things on sale at least on Xbox, always the base routes from each game plus maybe a few DTG DLCs, the sales on third part releases are rare and even when they do go on sale the discount is usually only around 20%.
