With the GBR 802, what's going to happen with other trains services on the routes? It'd be a bit wierd driving a GBR 802 down ECML and then wizzing past an EMT 158, or running down the Riviera Line and seeing GWR 150s and 166s on stoppers

 

How soon will we get the fix for class 90. And when will the wcml crewe/Birmingham update release. How much longer for mildmay extension release. Thanks

 

Why did so many DLC release in March instead of being spread out?

Will any fixes for the 802 get ported to the other Azumas?

 

Can we have an update on Fife Circle please, sound improvements, timetable, will general improvements ever be done?

 

How come the following (at the time of writing) was not mentioned in the roadmap, after seeing a screenshot showing these Add-Ons associated with the roadmap article:
- NT Class 158
- GWR Class 387 (I remember Liam saying he'd push for screenshots and some info to be released with this month's roadmap).

- Will there be improvements to the Class 378 on Mildmay (I.e incorrect motor sounds, incorrect gauge lighting and visuals)?
- What's the motive behind the GBR Class 802? Is there any additional information you can give us about it, such as features?
- Patch for B2C, any updates?
- Will audio improvements be coming to WMR/XC Class 170?

What is the timeline for patch updates on the New York- Stamford route dlc (full of bugs) ?

For Mildmay, is texture optimization to prevent blurring part of the work done along the work for the extension?

 

In the article it is stated that texture optimization has to be done for every route separately. How is this going to be implemented? Starting at the newest route and working backwards in time (release date)? Or focus on routes where blurring was most heavily reported?

 

Can we expect anything to be done in the forseeable future about the problem of people wildly running (or rather strolling leisurly) across the tracks? I don't think I have to point out why this is very unsettling.

The OP says the stream will start at 19:00 UTC, but it is being announced to start at 18:00 UTC in other places (including the preview stream on YT).

18:00 UTC = 19:00 BST = 20:00 CEST is probably the correct one.

Can you talk about what is going on with 3P patches, specifically patches that third parties have said have been sent to DTG "months ago" (MAC ATS fixes, JT Class 86 bogie fixes) and why they have just never materialised, leaving said 3Ps just saying "well we have sent it to DTG". Is the present QA team able to cope with the number of 3Ps now providing content?

 

I seen in screenshot there was supposed to be updates on the GWE 387 or rather an official announcment for it. Could this be addressed if possible?

What’s being done to tighten up acceptance of items from 3P’s to avoid future reoccurence of items like the MSTS level Class 90 making it through to retail?

Any news on save game fixes and improvements?

Are we now in the build up to TSW7?

Is Tadami Line really that close or is it just getting kicked down the road each month?

What real innovations are you planning to buff up the gameplay and appeal of TSW, rather than just continuing to release disjointed DLC, some of which are of questionable quality?

Will the GBR 802 be offered as a free item. Not many people are going to pay for a reskin of one of the most boring trains in game. Where is something iconic like the Deltic or Class 91 and Mark 4’s.

 

Are any of the lessons/techniques learnt on Medway being used on other content in development?

Because Medway has set a new bar on quality and it proves routes can be absolutely stunning and work on console and shows what TSW can achieve and I know I want that level of quality going forwards.

 

If the GBR liveried 802 is free (well, free for 802 owners), will there be an option to not download it?

 

Its a paid dlc i think.

 

I'd definitely be interested to hear about 3rd party updates that were submitted months ago that have not materialised yet. DTG were supposed to be making a concerted effort to make patches more regular.

 

1. Will the break penalty but get patched for the NY-Stamford route, specifically for the Metro North M8?

3. This may be unrelated but is Boston-Worcester going to receive a fix with it's F40PH-3C? The headlights are extremely bright and it currently takes a mod to fix this unofficially. This has been a day 1 bug since it's first release back in TSW5

4. PIS displaying "Not in Service" on most UK routes on Steam. This has also been resolved unofficially by a patch for PC players. Are there plans to officially fix this.

5. Any improvements to dynamic weather? Some of the more recent routes still suffer from abrupt changes in weather where a mod or several mods are required to unofficially fix this as well

 

Regarding blurred textures, you mention such updates are "something we need to assess individually for released content" - so, what kind of timeframe are we talking and how long would each route take to be optimised individually?

Why & how did the wrong release build end up being released with the class 90? What’s happened/happening to QA at DTG?

DTG can't really answer to that, and i won't. There are reasons. Be patient, it will come.

Hello, I would buy the London Overground Mildmay Line if only the Class 378 sounded like they do in real life. The sound for them at the moment is identical to the sound of the Class 375/77/79/387s, which sound different to the Class 376 and 378. I am a huge fan of the way the Class 376/8 Electrostars and the Class 390 Pendolino sound in real life, they would be my favourite trains for the sound alone, but in the game these trains are simply not done justice soundwise at the moment, with the 390 sounds not being up to scratch, but I know this was picked up on in the livestream. The issue of the 378s however was not, so I am putting that here. I also addressed the issue of the nosecam, bound to the train, which would ensure a better view of the speed of the train, as well as the tilt on high-speed trains when they turn, in particular on the 390, on which the speed and angle of the train cannot be visualised as impressively from the driver`s seat.

Wish they could do sounds exclusively for the Class 378 Electrostars running on the London Overground, rather than copying them from the other Electrostar units which have a different sound in real life to the 378s.

 

I lost mine at 691, sometimes the saved data goes corrupt.

why are recent TSW6 DLCs are so overpriced when there are a lot of issues with the DLCs

 

I have a suspicion it’s because DTG are in trouble. If they’re not then they’re doing a very good impression of a company that is.
