this route is on sale on PS store for a couple of more hours. can anyone recommend this route If I have it on PS5 pro? I know it’s not the same as on PC but are they still some AI traffic in rush-hours? can I have more layers on PS5 pro with a new PSSR 2.0 or maybe that doesn’t make any difference. cheers
the lack of layers is a bit annoying but honestly outside of 2 or 3 stations, you don’t notice it. the 430 timetable is still a full reflection of real life and the route itself is very enjoyable, there’s plenty of variety. i’d get it if i were you, especially on sale
Im on xbox series x but im assuming it's the same for consoles. The route is like a ghost town it's so quite. Frankfurt HBF is dead i have only ever seen 3 trains in there at once. And you barley pass any traffic on the full length runs or any of them for that matter. Feel free to ask more if you need to.
I would love to see decent amount of AI trains driving against you on the route. for example, freight trains andthe IC3
I don't have a PS5 Pro, just a regular PS5, but I haven't bought it, and won't until it gets a full timetable. If it did, it'd probably be my favourite TSW route, one I'd play loads, but knowing what's missing would massively spoil the experience for me. I hope that if DTG can sort out the performance issues they can look at giving it a proper console release.
My understanding is that the console release has just the S-Bahn services and the ICE-T (if you have that).
I’ll think I’ll pass on this one even at 60% on sale. I don’t want to spend money on a half broken route compared to PC and hopefully (even if I’d very much doubt) DTG will update this routeso we get the same amount of layers and AI traffic as on PC
Pretty sure it has some regio services. From the gameplay I’ve seen though it’s definitely a barren route. It’s fine when you’re on the 2 track S-Bahn but man the terminal ends of the route are barren.
Have to agree, the console experience for this route is disappointing. You will barely see any Ai traffic, maybe one train coming in the opposite direction every 10 minutes or so (I’m not kidding). This the end result when a route isn’t properly tested on all platforms and rushed out the door. We get a great route that will be completely forgotten about, due to its poor optimisation. Dresden to Leipzig is more of a memory hog then S-Bahn Frankfurt I would’ve thought, but that route manages to allow access to all its layers…
