    Hello,

I was wondering if the new Mk1 barrier coach from the HST Farrewell pack, can couple to the ROG class 37 locomotive.

The ROG class 37 does not have a full screw coupler itself and in the description of the farewell pack, it says that the MK1 Barrier coach has a screw coupler, but I am not sure.

Could someone that has this pack, conform this?

The barrier coach also only has a hook (no chain), so it can't be coupled directly to the ROG class 37

I think anything with a drophead buckeye does not have an attached chain

The ROG 37 has a bug where any vehicle with the flippable buckeye couplers, in other words any UK coaching stock, cannot couple to it because the folded hitbox of the buckeye bounces off the hitbox of the Dellner on the 37. DTG were aware of this from pretty much day one, evidenced by the static layer of a pair of locos with some coaches in the depot on Glossop which was released later that same year, where the 37s are positioned slightly away from the coaches due to the bug. In the case of the barrier coach, it is a modified MK1 BG and behaves the same.
