On a new route I'm building I was wondering why AI trains didnt appear in quick drive. It seems that when I go into build and select the quick drive scenario , when I click the small blue cube, I see that there are 3 columns there next to providers. The middle one looks like the front of a train and needs to be ticked for it to appear of course in the scenario . Well this will not remain ticked!!! . I tick it, save it but when I go back into build again, it is now unticked. This is not happening on other routes. Has anyone experienced this and found a cure for it please? . And yes, I tried cache clearing.!
When you save, do it say something like there are no changes to the scenario? If so, move something, like the scenario marker, just to make a change so that it saves properly. Also, AI trains in Quick Drive is loaded with PreLoad files, in these files you need to add the route ID you want the train to appear on.
Yes, Oystein is correct - if you tick a provider box and make no changes to the scenario, it won't be saved. One of those little quirks. Making a small change is, as suggested, a solution. Another way to do it is to place a wagon on the line and then delete it. Although nothing is changed as such, it fools the game into thinking it has. John
