I came across an ad on Facebook promoting a Humble Bundle package for Train Sim World 6 and in the comments (seen on the mobile app), there seems to be a lot of confusion as to what someone might get as its not entirely clear. The ads themselves, posted by both the official Train Sim World and Humble Bundle Facebook pages, imply that you get the base game and some DLCs. However, it has been noticed that you only get coupons to buy the game for 50% off, something none of the ads on Facebook mention and more so when it reads "Game Bundle". Sadly, I found this out the hard way and took a hole into the wallet as a result for nothing in return. I have since contacted Humble Bundle requesting a refund as I felt the ads are potentially misleading and creating far too much confusion. I made a payment and received nothing other than coupons to buy the game at 50% off for standard, deluxe and special edition. The thought of buying coupons sounds ludicrous. I have come across posts on Reddit describing this exact situation in r/GameDeals, r/HumbleBundles and r/GameBundles where the users are having to explain what each tier contains and despite this, confusion remains all the same. I think you would have had more success funding for CALM via a charity stream rather than the confusing mess that's come out of this Humble Bundle chaos.
I guess you didn't read the details on the link at the bottom before the picture as the details clearly state. "Get half-off coupons for standard, deluxe, and special editions of the main Train Sim World 6 game, plus a wealth of extras, like Diesel Legends of the Great Western, Los Angeles’ San Bernardino line, and the extra festive Holiday Train Pack! Sounds like all you get are 50% off coupons right on the 1st line. Maybe read the full details before you purchase.
The bundle includes the Training Center, which is the base game, and several DLCs. It also has 50% off coupons for the standard, special, and deluxe editions, which are essentially sub-bundles of additional, non-overlapping DLCs. It's all there on the HB site. Awkwardly structured, yes, but hardly a rip-off, as the game is included regardless of whether you use the coupons or not.
From the website: "All aboard your next adventure Calling all conductors: Power up those engines and honk those whistles, because you won’t want to miss this fantastic Train Sim World 6 bundle! This collection of game coupons and DLC is your first class ticket to ride a great selection of all-new train lines and expand the Train Sim World map! Get half-off coupons for standard, deluxe, and special editions of the main Train Sim World 6 game. Plus a wealth of extras, like Diesel Legends of the Great Western, Los Angeles’ San Bernardino line, and the extra festive Holiday Train Pack! Grab all this and more for the price of your choice, and support the suicide prevention organization Campaign Against Living Miserably with your purchase! Keys Expire. Please redeem before August 6th, 2026 Pay $15 Or More." The selected charity proceeds go to: Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) I've bought a few of these types of bundles; they are legit and pair with various gaming, 3D Modeling (STL), Software, Music, and book creators to build these bundles. https://www.humblebundle.com/games/train-sim-world-6-first-class-ticket-bundle Basically, you get these DLCs if you pay $15 or more: Then you get coupons for: Note that these are going to be Steam Keys, so if you're looking for another platform, Humble usually doesn't do those. I can answer any questions y'all have.
FYI the ECML route and Flying Scotsman have now been added to this bundle, and there is a slider that allows you to donate all of DTGs portion of the proceeds to CALM if you so wish!
I bought this bundle myself, but I can't seem to use the 50% off coupouns for the different editions in the humble store. Am I missing something or am I doing the steps wrong? I did sucessfully get the DLCs tho.
Believe it or not the coupons ran out yesterday (29th) I’d complain to humble bundle if they are still on sale
Just to confirm the vouchers expire on 20th May 2026, but the dates on Humble's website haven't been updated yet. We've been waiting on their reply since Friday, and chased again yesterday.
I bought the bundle from them on the 1st but the coupon they gave me apparently expired hours before I even bought it. I got the other DLC just fine but this was their 50% off coupon. Emailed their support about it the next day but still no answer.
To me, the Humble website looks clear in what you get, however the screenshot of the ad showed above, is a bit misleading as you don't get the Morristown Line. If there was the picture of the free starter pack, it would be more correct. Also the naming of 11 or 5 item bundle is somewhat misleading, as you get 3 vouchers for 50% off for the 3 different versions of the game, but you only will use 1 (I suppose you have the option to give away the other 2 vouchers to other people). In the end, it still can be a good deal l if you don't own 2 or more DLC's already.
Humble have really been circling the drain for some time now. Especially after the buyout, the retirement of the founders, and the waves of layoffs.
Hi MP600 sorry to hear this. However, your voucher should still work as the expiry date was updated for everyone. Please try your voucher again and let us know how you get on.
Live picture taken just before this message. Again, this predates me even buying it in the first place. I have now heard back from Humble though, albeit just to ask for screenshots.
My order screen looks like this too, it’s not just you (not that I’m going to redeem any of the vouchers anyway)
I was planning to redeem the Special edition since I'm rebuilding my collection on PC and right now only have the UK stuff, asides from the couple other addons in that bundle which I was able to redeem seperately.
