Welcome to a new off topic Series in the forums

I thought, weekly I should post stations in which the community guesses then when I do the next one, I announce the answer of the last station.

im going to start with this station, try and guess this one.

I know this one. It’s a railway station, often incorrectly called a train station. Too easy.

Whilst I have no idea what station that is, this seems like a pretty fun idea

    Hmm...

A single track platform in the UK that is unelectrified, and based on the black portions of track is served by 2-car DMUs that generally tend to wait there for a long time (terminus station?). I admit that last one is a bit of a stretch (not sure if DMUs leave those black marks but hey ho).

There is an area for people to access on the non-platform side of the track.

Based on the name of the OP (Mr. Southern Driver), I'd assume this photo was taken somewhere on the Southern network. Again, clutching at straws here.

That brings us to either Ashford International or Uckfield, and I don't see any room for Southeastern services so I'm going to guess Uckfield.

    This is fun!

May I suggest that whoever gets it right takes the floor and posts one of their own, and so on?

    Can’t be Uckfield.
On closer analysis, it has the GWR sort of green banner underneath the station name.
Seems to be a branchline termini station in the western region. Cornwall I’m going to guess somewhere like Falmouth?

You should be 'no-platformed' for that comment Stu ;)

Somewhere near the docks maybe?

Tough one. Good pic. I’m looking at that picture of the lion holding something that looks like the England flag maybe ?. I’m going to guess this is somewhere in London ?. Maybe the outskirts somewhere.
