Route Great Western Express: Remastered - Feedback Thread

Asking for a mate who plays but don't do forums . After the remaster dropped on diesel legends all the scenarios you can get platinum on now but all normal jobs only gold. He wants to know why is that. DTG Liam could you shed some info on this for him please. Thanks. Great Job by the way.

 

Does anyone know how freight services there should if you have all the layers needed. After last update Im sure I lost about 30 jobs. Thanks.

Train: Heathrow Connect 350
Service: 2Y22 Heathrow Airport - Paddington
Platform: PS5
Issue: The go via at signal SN80 on the approach into Paddington is after the signal, whilst the signal is red. Making it impossible to get into Paddington . By not touching the objective, the Oxford - Paddington service ahead of me is stuck at the red signal.
Result: I have to remove the train in order to get into paddington.

Could you have a look into this as the go via objective needs to be moved before the signal rather than after the signal.

 

I'm still getting the issue with the 802 when switching to Diesel it wont take power, even after the updates from the last couple of days.

Drive from the depot to sidings on Overhead, drop the panto, change ends, fire up the diesel engine but it wont take power and rolls back. Is there a fix for this coming?

 

What platform are you on?

 

In regards to the Heathrow Airport as a terminus. In real life, the destination isn't Heathrow airport as its either Heathrow Terminal 4 or Heathrow Terminal 5 via Heathrow terminals 2 and 3.

Have had that issue today on the PS5, once you go to emergency or you get trigger by the safety systems and you stop on the 802, you can't retake power as the brake gauges are stuck in brake position. ( I have also had this issue with it on the xbox series s). This issue isn't present on the class 801 or the class 805

 

You want to run the Class 802 on diesel on GWE Line, Turn on diesel engine THEN raise the pantograph, regardless of whether there are overhead lines or not. It will run that way.

 

Another corrupted game save. I've not had this on any route before.

 

If it's corrupted your save, it's not route specific.

(You on PS5 by chance?

 

Xbox. Two runs on the trot on this route gave problems after saving.

Oh ok. Seems like it's a bug with the mid game save rather than profile. It'll likely never be fixed

 

Can’t free roam spawn anything I’ve tried 387 375 45 403 everything said not enough room in this scenario.

 

The save game issue has been mentioned already in this thread. If you save a run on the new timetable, then either while loading it or exactly two minutes after running it, you get a hard crash. On the PC this locks everything up and needs a hard reboot to get out of it. It does not appear to affect running the OG timetable or the DLOGW one.

Liam is aware of this and presumably so are DTG, but so far only silence. The route cannot be used with the new timetable if you think you might have to save and come back later.

 

If you stay on an AI train headed for Greenford, you can get off at Drayton Green and walk out of the station and go exploring the streets. Eventually worked my way back to Ealing Broadway and was quite impressed by the modelling of the Haven Green bus stop area outside of the station.

 

I thought he was talking about profile saves lol

 

Im having a few issues with the Diesel Legends of Great Western.
- Class 08 5X03 Coach Prep scenario bugs out immediately and derails the 08
- Gold Medals are impossible to obtain on many routes of Spaghetti Western
- 1A59 London Paddington bugs out immediately with "Signal Passed at Danger" before even starting the scenario
There may be more, but this is as far as I've gotten in it so far. If anyone knows of a workaround that would be great, I hope the Devs make a fix for this soon.

 

Its been out 5 years they know about all the problems but they ain't gonna do anything about it.
