What platform are you on please, what service was it and what route please

 

Xbox series x It usually happens with any service that the 805 service that it has been injected into but it can happen if the 805 just appears as I can go from enjoying train sim to looking at my Xbox dash board as the game crashed so to answer your question any service and i found it crashed recently on Birmingham to crewe route that the 805 appears on but it also crashes when I try to do any route on the WCML scenarios as well.

 

Hi Kezz I have played service 9R26 0707 to Birmingham New Street on PS5 and at the Disused Norton Bridge I was approaching a red signal (applied emergency brakes as I thought I was going to overshoot) I came to a stand and tried to retake power but I couldn't move until I realised...

 

Hi, I can't repro this, would you mind trying to do it again at a different location go from full power to emergency brake to see if it occurs again, that way I can check the issue

many services, usually 350s, don’t seem to be following the timetable. for a while now i’ve felt that this timetable is quieter than some of the others, i’ll add some examples below to better explain the issue.

Example 1:


in this example, 2T33 has arrived at tring but has failed to register that, meaning that it has also failed to become 2T34 and leave towards euston, therefore holding up me (2T35)

Example 2:



in this second example, 2K29 is running as per the timetable, but 2K27 is nowhere to be seen. my assumption is that either it didn’t leave euston as it was supposed to, or it just didn’t spawn at all. however, at berkhamstead it is shown to be only 10 minutes late, but if it is 30 minutes late to watford it cannot be only 10 minutes late to berkhamstead

Example 3:
i haven’t got a screenshot of this one, but it shows 2T32 being 30 minutes late to hemel hempstead (heading southbound), i couldn’t locate the specific train on the map but it meant that between watford and tring i didn’t pass a single 350 on the slow line which is highly unrealistic

 

Finding I’m getting out of memory crashes to dashboard on any 805 services out of Euston on Xbox Series X. This is from a fresh load (no previous runs and not using Quick Resume).

Edit: this is before the level has even loaded in

 

Hi Kezz I tried 9G41 did full power to emergency checked all bogies and they were fine. Tried 9R28 again full to emergency again it was fine. Just driving to Norton Bridge again to see if it just does it there.

Edit 2325, emergency stopped at Norton Bridge and took power again no issues all bogies on the rails....

Must of been a bizarre random event

 

Something that's happening to me but its always doing it when a 805 appears aswell which is making me think of getting a refund as I can't play TSW without it crashing to dashboard as it happens more on the routes like the WCML and the Birmingham to crewe which are my favourite scenarios that I play

 

Hi Kezz Doing Class 805 service 1A26 Crewe to London Euston to WCML South. I got a Pantograph fault. So came to a stop near Hatch end and had the same exact issue someone else had where the Rear end of the train wheels came off the track preventing from being able to complete the service.

 

Is this pack ever going to be fixed?

 

Seems unlikely!

 

I did re-work the suspension so that might be why I am not seeing these issues, it will be a part of the patch for the pack so hopefully that fixes whatever issue this is

 

Its annoying as I was extremely excited for the 805 but when it started crashing on me I first thought it was on my end but after uninstalling it and reinstalling it I found it was on their side. Unfortunately I had to uninstall it as it was crashing my game every time it appeared on scenarios which I really dislike but it helps with not making TSW6 a minefield likely to crash so i'm happy with that outcome.

 

Big update today and I still get out of memory crash when loading up the jobs in journey mode.

Look closely at the buttons with all the black squares on them instead of symbols

 

Yeah i didn't notice that until I zoomed in. They fix a few things and break load off other things.

 

Just looking for some clarification as a PS5 user...

With the updates have any of the timetabled services (both playable and AI) been removed? There seems to be conflicting information that the Series S is the platform with reduced content. Or is it across the board for all Gen9 consoles?

 

Then at least it does get better with time.

 

I wanna know this too, as a PS5 user I never had any real issues before with the AI services enabled so it would be abit annoying if they have removed them and made the timetable abit quieter !

Just having a look at the WCMLs Evero timetable on ps5 and noticed there’s actually more playable services now for the Pendolino and Evero? All the previous AI non stop services through Milton Keynes now seem to be playable?

 

Bound to Edinburgh scenario still hard crashes to dashboard on Series X before it’s even loaded up.

 

Playing on Xbox Series X, i can now complete Bound to Edinburgh scenario, so thanks.
Like others says i have black box over most of the buttons too.

 

I am on a PS5 and as far as i can tell there are no removed services on the WCML B2C or south, in fact im almost positive there are more pendolino services. the new 805 tt has had the /2 and /3 varients removed but their services are all under the /1 varient (class 350) so there are no reductions to overall services.

i ran a quick 805 across both and they also "feel" as busy as usual so im kinda thinkling PS is fine*

If that's the case then not to bad...

I hope, in time, if the other 350 sub classes are optimised better that they will be reinstated for the WCMLS route. Not a demand as such, but it would be great for their optimisation issues to be resolved and reinstated to the WCMLS 805 timetable to add the realistic sub class variety.

 

I’m on ps5 and my WCMLs has a full timetable with all the sub classes of the 350s then it has the reduced timetable with the 350/1 doing all the services so they are still there

 

I know some will say it's just a cosmetic problem, but I'm really bothered by the buggy buttons on the 805 panel
how the heck didn't the QA team see this? the question isn't whether QA is done well or badly anymore
I'm starting to think QA simply isn't done at all

 

my favourite quote comes from one of the ambassador streams, watching TSD and someone said: "Surprised no one mentioned the Class 90" - i dont understand why the Class 805 was 'optimised' when it was running fine on playstation as far as my experience goes, and now its being 'optimised' into an 8th gen add on at 8th gen quality.

Slowly but surely all the DLC for train sim world is being 'patched' or 'optimised' back into something you expect on a Playstation 4 or Xbox One. using the guise of 'better performance' or 'more stability' - developers come along and make all these super duper awesome high quality DLC, such as TSW has never seen, the MOST high quality, the BEST lookinbg route or BEST sounding loco and then Dovetail comes along and has to nerf the ever loving christ out of it, or the developers themselves need to nerf the heck... sorry, i mean 'optimise'... it (removing AI, triming the timetable, making reduced timetables, etc etc)

 

I just completed a run on WCML South in the Evero, on PS5 Pro and I only had very slight blurring before and in the tunnels after the estate before Euston. Other than that it performed well. Which is a big difference to before. (the buttons in the cab are messed up for me too though).

 

Same on Epic, I don't have this issue before the patch.

 

whats going on with the Class 805, was genuinely perfect before the updates and now its got black squares all over the buttons, everything else seems fine and clear except for the in-cab buttons.

can we PLEASE stop "fixing" stuff already. if this is fixed, id hate to see what you consider to be broken
