Just dont bother with ATS made DLC going forward. 2 for 2 broken launches, 2 for 2 "wrong build" as the reasoning (dont agree myself but thats the story anyhow) and although MAC was fixed pretty quick smart, i cant understand why this one is taking almost as long as the 0-3 roadmap catagory.

the only real option i see is to just forget ATS exsist as a third party at all and buycot the studio.

if its broken, it should be getting fixed. if there are delays bleeding well just say so, Playstation are declining refunds on a clearly broken product that IS STILL FOR SALE ON THE STORE!!! so while no one uses the damned loco due to it being broken, and the store reviews being not the easiest to find on PS, people will buy it and DTG/ATS will continue to make money on it.

and the thing that makes this all double plus funny is that this is all from a studio whos head used to sit there and slag off other developers of TSW stuff, and how hed be able to do a better job. oh how the turned tables.. turn?!

 

thats a fair point, i would politely point out that the sprinter express timetable wasnt a fix for something that was broken and while it sucked HEAPS waiting and waiting, you could still play the FCL and for the most part have a pretty fun time.
the 90 should be being treated like the MAC was, and a fixed should be being rushed though as this is in my opinion a bit more urgent

 

Don't get me wrong I totally understand the frustration from customers... I respect what you're saying.

But I've noticed with nearly every release over the last year is either the wrong build or something similar is put out. The Devs seem to always have the correct builds, but somewhere within DTG they frustratingly release the wrong builds regardless of who the developers are.

I don't know what is going on in the QA area of DTG, and can only speculate, but I'd hazard a guess that they were throwing a lot of resources into developing the now cancelled Metro Rivals and developing a new variation of the game behind the scenes, consequently it would seem this had a knock on effect for TSW, ans was more a skeleton staff structure working on the base game compared to the olden days having more resources, and things like QA have quite a backlog of issues that need addressing and are piling up, and now DTG have cancelled Metro Rivals suddenly there may be more resources available, but there is a backlog of stuff that needs addressing and will take time to get ontop of.

Not a perfect situation for the customers, I do acknowledge that, but I think the blame needs to be aimed at the QA system rather then the Devs who appear to be equally frustrated with the system themselves.

 

If the developers are as frustrated as us customers are about this situation, or any of the myriad crappy things DTG is doing with TSW and/or their work - is there no way at all to collectively tell DTG to go kick rocks. wishfull thinking i know, but why cant all the third party developers just make their own TSW by another name, and litterally tell DTG to go and expletive themselves

Or buy it, if it’s not up to par then refund it ASAP.

Stop giving them money for substandard quality.

I have tried to refund it and instead get a DLC that isnt broken, Sony say no, my only option now is to wait for it to be fixed so i can actually play the thing. ATS and DTG are both radio silent on the whole thing and anyone who paid money for it and cant refund it for what ever reason is left here with their johnsons in their hands

 

I'm a PS4 user, so I can't get this at all.

Seems like the patch is incoming, hopefully we can all enjoy this loco after it lands.

I think this is 100% true

 

To be fair, the patch fix for what was apparently a wrong build release has been coming imminently for quite some time now.

 

And the statement that was issued made it quite clear to me at least that there were far deeper issues even if the ‘right’ build had been released in the first place.

 

a wrong build can be pushed quickly, look at the MAC's launch. this needing the safety systems completely rewritten as well as needing simugraph redone means it was more serious than just "whoopsie, wrong build" - seeing as this would have become apparent pretty quickly, any kind of update between the launch and the almost two months of silence would have been amazing.

At least theyve given an actual date - June 16th, along withg the UK core updates - so theyre committed now, its locked in.
